I don't know what the drama is about. But I speak from experience that it's really not worth the personal stress. Just remember, the internet will go on without you. You deserve a break and a rest. That goes for all the time. Not just surgery.

WHAT?!?!    I'm with BL, omg is right!  I didn't know your mom had a heart attack!!!  Holy schnits!  I'm so sorry to hear that!  And this was back in January?  Good God, I'm horribly behind on stuff!    Well, for the long run, I so hope to God she's doing a lot better!  Pass along some strong hugs for me, please?
