TMNT was an answer on Monday night's episode of Jeopardy!

The category was "Teen" Entertainment. (Letter strings in quotations have to appear in the answers.)

The clue was something like "These reptilian heroes fight with a bo staff, katanas, nunchucks, and sai."

It kind of made my evening. Happy/Smile

I'd be squealing if I got that answer. Mind you, I tend to do that when I see anything TMNT and I'm in my own home. If I'm in a store, I'm more subdued because I don't want people thinking I'm a lunatic.

A contestant did get the answer, though he didn't seem terribly sure about it. It was the second clue in the category (meaning it was relatively easy), and this is the Teen Tournament. I wonder if adults would have known the answer?

Alex read the clue with a straight face, as usual, and didn't have any particular comment about it. I can just imagine him going over the clues beforehand and saying, "The Teenage what?"

Okay you two, spanish or italian? Those languages are so close at times I'm not sure if I'm reading it in the right language Razz

Aside from that back on topic, that is so cool! Thanks for getting that clip up here Amicitia, that is awesome. Definitely worth the YouTube account I would think Wink

I wonder if Peter and Kevin have heard of this and what they think of it.

Both, actually.

Gracias is Spanish. Italian is grazie.

Non ti preoccupare is Italian, because my Spanish is teh lousy. I have no idea what the equivalent idiom is.

This has been your non-TMNT trivia for the day.

That's what I thought for non ti preoccupare. It's easier to define which is which when I hear it rather then read it. Thanks for confirming Wink
