on youtube. It features the art of many of the fans. I've been around and seen some of this art before.
Did the artists give their permission to be in this clip? I see the art of one famous Raph fan and yet she hasn't commented on it. I find it kinda surprising. It 's beautiful anyhow. A very good song for him.

Hiya,
I moved this topic to the video section since it is a music video.
I think they did very well with the video though I know a lot of that art work used and seeing as how PG wasn't even asked for use of the art, I doubt they got permission from anyone. I hope no one takes offense to it, cause it was nicely done. And gotta think, the 4Kids, Movies, and original series plus more have this happen with their art all the time by us fans, used for web pages and music videos. It's not much different, they're not saying the art is their's and they're not making money off of it.

They didn't ask my permission either. Personally speaking, since it was fan art, and mostly a manipulated photograph done for a laugh for the photo's owner, I wasn't too worried about it. Not all artists are going to agree with that, though. Some have spent a lot of time on their work, and may not like that someone else is getting the credit for something they didn't do.
At the very least, the video creator should have made a list of credits at the end, for all the contributing artists.
If it had been original work, not fan art, I'd have been annoyed and contacted the person who did the video, and asked them to take it down, and if they didn't, I'd tag it as a violation of copyright and contact the website administrators. I get tired of people doing such things without extending the courtesy of emailing me first and getting my permission and telling me what they are going to use it for. I know this has been discussed before, and you would agree, there's a huge problem with other peoples work being stolen online and used for someone else's gain. Right now someone I've done artwork for is dealing with a trademark violation problem where several other people are selling merchandise with the trademarked item as their own.

My biggest issue is when people turn around and say "I drew this" when they didn't. It would of been nice for them to put credit or mention of where the art came from in the description or at the end of the video. Though if they said these are drawings that they did, than I'd be upset at the person who put the video together.

I think it's obvious they didn't draw all these. The art styles are completely different. I do agree with the others, credits would have been the right thing to do.
Also, this isn't the only video on youtube like this, featuring others artwork. I don't know if it's the same person, I forgot to check.
