1. I've been off fast food for awhile now, partially due to finances and partially because I found out some of the stuff that goes into my favorite foods at places like Micky D's, so I sort of got turned off to eating at those places.
2. Living space is getting way too small. It's only two of us, but it's getting cramped with all our hobbies clogging our closets. We're in the process of clearing out the farmhouse, though, nearly done with the upstairs area, in fact, so we'll be moving back there soon.

3. The heat. Always the heat. Haven't had problems with flies out here, though the june bugs come out in swarms at night for the cats to chomp on(seriously). No skeeters yet, either, just down by the river and not too many up at the house.
The heat has been brutal lately though. Last two days have been upwards of the lower 90s with loads of humidity, so I just melt this time of year. I seem to be able to handle the cold better than the heat. Heat and humidity just smothers me, plus I burn easy as heck, too. That would probably be my second pet peeve of summer. Sunburn.
I'm good everywhere but my face. Since I was about 14, I've been able to slather on any sort of sunscreen all over, but if I put it on my face, while I never break out or anything, it always feels like somebody took my father's welding torch to my face. It's VERY painful, no matter what sort of sunscreen it is. I've tried various brands, various SPF levels, even the stuff that's come out in the last few years that's meant for the face, it's all the same. They all hurt, and it's worse if I get into a pool.
I've been trying some different stuff this summer to see if I can figure out the problem and I've had no luck, so I find other ways to keep from frying my face, usually in the form of masks, a big umbrella, or just plain staying inside. *shrug*
