Hope ya like it, sadly my dad only got Sunday. I'll check through the tape Mica gave me and see if it'd be worth doing another blog down the line. Of course I'd ask Mica before using it, and she'd get credit for being the camera person.
I'll be doing a different blog to cover the Saturday Night Party... That should be interesting.
New Question: Have you ever thought of opening your own business?
I have, a lot. In fact I really do feel that's the route I want to go. My main goal is to open a Ninja Turtle Museum some day. Though I got a few small ideas in the works to do before that.

Yes, and we've actually done it, sort of.
Though my family's business is mainly farming, Mom, Earl, and I did open a small craft business to sell dishtowels, pillowcases, and the like with at craft shows and flea markets in the area. It's not much, just some scratch on the side, but it's something.

New Question: Ever wake up to the right song on the radio that matched how you felt before going to bed?
I don't often sleep to a radio, usually I got the TV going on in the background if I need a noise to go to sleep too. Though lately I've been going to bed with the radio playing. It plays oldies music all night, and there's just been a few times I wake up thinking 'oh that song fits things'.

New Question: What color is your dream car?
I like blue, a true blue... not too dark or light...

New Question: Would you pay $99/night for a room this small? Bathroom is shared by everyone on the same floor... My answer is yes, this is right inside NYC, so I won't have to travel in and out of the city, which means no night time, time limit. It's a few blocks from Ray's pizza and I don't think I'll be at the hotel itself much while there. I'm not going to pack heavy, going to have one suite case and a back pack for the trip. So I don't need much room. I already booked my stay

I don't think I would mind if it were just me in the room (obviously, as there isn't really room for more than one person! lol) buuuuut....I don't think I feel comfortable sharing a bathroom with abunch of strangers. But that's just me, a person who avoids using public restrooms if at all possible lol

Sorry I've been so quiet... lost a neighbor this last weekend, the Funeral was yesterday. This was the only neighbor on the street that I really knew as a friend. Her name was Billy, she was 79 years old. Billy has lived at that house since my mom was a child, so I've known her my full life. I would go down there and visit with her.... she had a small black dog named Peanut. Peanut is now living with Billy's daughter. This came as a surprise to me that she's gone... I just saw her Tuesday last week as I was heading out to get pizza for the family she was sitting on her porch with Peanut. So it's been a hard weekend for me.
New question: Have you ever stood up to speak at a Funeral?
I have a few times, at my Grandma's I had the speech to give about her. And even just yesterday at Billy's Funeral I stood up to say how important she was to the block and what a great friend she was. There was other neighbors there, but I was the only non family member to stand up when they offered the floor. It's hard to go up there and talk about a lost one to a crowd of people you don't know, but also feel the lost of the same person... but I feel that it's also important for people to share their thoughts and feelings.

No. Seems speaking up at family funerals is either a big city or east coast thing. Hubby's mentioned the practice, but we don't do it here. Not family.
Usually the eulogies are given by the minister presiding over the funeral. I've never heard of anyone around here standing up and speaking about a deceased loved one at a funeral before. Only the ministers. Family(especially immediate family) is expected to sit in the pews during the service and cry most of the time. We're not expected to speak or sing or anything except be there and cry and be comforted.
Less immediate family like cousins and nephews may be pallbearers, but still no speaking or anything other than that. Neighbors or church choir members may be asked to do pieces outside of the 3 or so hymns sung throughout, but the ministers are the only ones I know of who speak at funerals about the deceased around here.

Gotta say on the hotel, total cuteness! Even with it being small! I so would stay in there.
On the funeral, I have briefly spoken at a couple funerals before but never anything much. It's when they ask if anyone in the pews want to share their thoughts that I have stood up. Never anything more then that. I don't know if I would be able to do more then that (And I don't want to think of the times when it would be appropriate for me to be able to do so!) because I am just not a public speaker much. Singing, yes, performing, yes. Talking.. not so much.

You could always talk in a singing voice! lol jk As for the question...no, I haven't even been to more than 2 or 3 funerals, and the last one I was at I was like a teenager...so no I've never really spoken up at one. I would have to say I would if given the chance though, depending on who the person was and what they meant to me. Hopefully that's not something I'll have to worry about anytime soon though.
