It's ...really frustrating when I set a day aside to draw..and THIS image, is all I can get to turn out well--and yet it summarizes so well how I feel about the OTHER images I drew. For some reason I imagine him, Hulk-style, taking my sketchbook, ripping it apart with his teeth, and then taking my gummy eraser and clogging the neighborhood sinks with it. Just for spite.

Raph angry! Raph SMASH! If you achieve nothing else today, you have brought joy to a fan who, completely and repeatedly, fails at art.

Oooooh yeah...that's so true. The days you can actually put time aside to be creative...it doesn't work. It's the days you barely have time to breath that inspiration usually strikes... Or the shower. OOHH!! You should get some of those shower-crayons from when we were kids! Unless that's a regional thing...they're actually soap, but they draw very well on tile, and you'd just need to...well, take pics of the drawings before they get washed off. Brilliant!

I can't see what I'm drawing, when taking a shower... Nice work, Klorkness. Sometimes the best stuff comes after you've had a stomping fit.

Ah, Klork. Hahaha! You are funny. But at least you are still doing something artistically. I got really frustrated about 15 years ago, trying to juggle work, kids, and the trials of life, and chucked my art supplies across the room. I haven't done anything since. I guess I hated being interrupted all the time. I dunno. Anyway, I hope you never get to a place like that. I really dig your stuff and find it inspiring.

Hun is having too much fun with the new board features creating his own art, I see. And Klork, if that's all that came out of your frustrated day, it's still awesome!!

LOL (love the display, somebody's having fuuuuun). To tell the truth, the day itself wasn't so bad, just the art, it never fails though, when you CAN'T just CAN'T get what you want in your mind on paper, and just decide to do a doodle without thinking about it...the doodle ends up fantastic. Fpppppttt! I haven't been *too* frustrated to chuck art away permanently....though I did take a hiatus from doing massive art right after I graduated from college with a BS in studio art. I can honestly say I was arted-out. So basically, I'm starting to dive back into it again, and it's nice simply because while my son throws a fit if I'm on the computer, he's ok with me drawing. Of course..he's only one and his entertainment includes running around the couch I'm sitting on..but who's counting. But yeah, drawing will commence..again..tomorrow (since I have to cut my hubby's hair today...arrggh! SO not a hairstylist...I'm afraid it's going to end up chunky and crazy looking....good thing he wears a hat to work). Hopefully you will all see a few more new rank images and stuff popping up from me in the next week through the mod squad. ANd Aig..I'm...terribly horribly sorry your vision is...limited...in the shower...so that you cannot draw. *scoots away* Oh, Hun, thanks for the ego lift. I needed a multi-color pat pat of sorts.

Yay no fun to give up on art, art is one of those things that helps people vent... though at other times it gives people reasons to vent

Nice artwork, Klork. I really like it. Don't give up on art. It'll come. I feel the same way with writer's block though. I just get so frustrated when I can't think of anything to write. It sucks, but I keep trying my best. That's all I can do.

So long as they're red and not purple, I'll be ok with that image

Gee, guys....I dunno.....I kinda like the idea of Raph in shorts. Even Hulk ones. On another note, awwww,gee....don't give up on me like that with the art thing. It's just a really long hiatus is all. Cripes, if you had been blessed with the kids I had, it would make busting broncs look easy. And the marriage went south too. So yeah, I had to stop. The last thing I ever did was the Turtles for Eastman's pool here in AZ. So what's the deal now? Drama. Family drama. That's now come to an end after 8 years....we don't need to go there right now. But like I said, the Klorkness is an inspiration......and if I can locate my energy button....... That brings to mind another thing, Klork. Do you ever go through the thing that you can't shut off when you're in creative mode? Can't sleep. Your mind is in hyper drive? That is one of my biggest problems. And to be honest, that really is the reason I'm not back into it. It interferes with my job, and with the job I do, I have to 100% on the ball. No mistakes. So yeah, do you get that Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel syndrome
