Hey everyone, This week is voting for the person you hope to make it to the Top 5. Doesn't have to be the person you think should be the winner, but the person you think may have issues but you really really like and want to see make it just another few weeks on the show! Can vote up to 5 people.

I actually got to watch Idol tonight! Yay! And if I did make it into this season tonight's episode would have been my dream. I love Andrew's work!
Aside from that the two best perfomances I think were the David's. Young David we already know is good but I was beyond impressed with how he sang, Think of Me. *Puts hand on heart*
When David sang Music of the Night I was once again entranced. Yes I love Phantom of the Opera and that is one of my favorite songs. I think he did very well with this piece.

Man the one week I didn't vote...
I was in the car when my mom called and told me last night, Miki didn't hear what was being said on my mom's end and thought someone died. But I felt so so sick. I couldn't vote Tuesday night, so I know that this was the first week where Carly didn't get any votes from Miki and I, we've always supported her on the show
She will be missed, at least she's on the tour.

I agree it was a bummer about who got voted off.
*Chuckles at Amicitia* Every time I see your AV with post like the one you did about the David's I can sooo picture you banging your head like that. Always makes me laugh!
The Davids did really good on those songs, I thought. It just worked out really good for them.

We watched it this week since they did the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. I was very disappointed with who got eliminated, very much indeed. I even got slightly emotional when it happened. And Randy is right in saying that type of music is difficult to perform. I was a little put off at how the two Davids changed two popular POTO songs into pop style. Guess I wasn't used to it. They still sounded good, though. Syesha's song was one I never heard of, but then again, I only know a few songs from "Starlight Express." She was awesome! Carly made a wise choice to change it to "Jesus Christ Superstar" compared to "All I Ask of You"! I was very impressed. And Brooke singing "You Must Love Me," yeah, that's a very powerful and sad song and she just lost the lyric, very unfortunate.

David Cook really *didn't* change the song, though. Not like he usually does.

I was VERY disappointed that Carly got kicked off...!
It was unfortunate...! I loved the song that she picked, and I thought it sounded awesome. Oh well, I guess there's a lot of soccer mom's who got angry that there was such a song out there... XD

Could have been the soccer moms or it could also be people like me who think some of the singers are awesome but I just don't take the effort to vote. I voted last year when I really started to like Blake's singing talent but that's about it. Honestly I get busy with other stuff (Usually getting my daughter to bed) and forget about voting.

Well, in my opinion, I didn't like how he shouted out, "THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT!" and totally alternated the end. Sorry, I'm just old-fashioned that way, I prefer the musical style compared to what he did. But, to each his/her own I guess.
