supposedly we have a TRU opening in Corona...they had listed...well, there is no TRU being built in Corona. Dunno where they got that idea

Now I did email Mirage to see if there's any updated information on the TBA ones.  Cause I notice it hasn't been updated since they originally put these listings up.

I think people should phone the TRUs before heading out - maybe something happened and these appearances fell through.  It'd be a bit of a drag to haul your butt to one of these appearances, only to have nothing happen, right?

I always recommend calling first...  but that doesn't always help...

Back when they went around to TRUs a few years back, I called both of the TRUs in IL before driving out there, both of them said yes the Turtles were going to be there.  So I get to the first one and we sit and wait...and wait... and wait... the Turtles are a no show.   I go to the second one... and sit and wait... and wait... that's also a no show.  TRU had areas cleared out for the Turtles, prizes set up to give out, and everything. 

When I got home I contacted Playmates and Mirage, Playmates got a hold of the costume people, who some how thought those two gigs were canceled.   So while calling is a good idea, cause 9 times out of 10 the stores know what's going on there, it doesn't always help.

Though I wish we've heard of some people going to these events, some sort of review so we know what's going on there, if there's prizes and such.

Well, I found it

I had no idea until a couple days ago there IS a Corona TRU, and it's not open yet. Over at the Corona Crossings (or whatever)  shopping center. They dont tell you a thing until the sign is up on the store front. And I dont go down there all that often.

So it's there.
