Hey everyone,

Seeing a how I know I'm seeing this tonight and that Hun seems to be someone going to see the movie.  I figured I'd start this topic a little early for the two of us.  Hopefully I'll be able to write up my review for the movie when I get home.

Anyone else planning to see this?

Ok I think I'm a Speed Racer fan now!

This movie was great, the special effects, the story, the characters, the action!!

I highly recommend to everyone. 

I will give more of a review tomorrow, just wrapping up for tonight.

I checked this one out after I checked out Iron Man! A double feature day!  Very Happy/Big Grin

As a fan of the original series(OK, I know I'm dating myself here!), I was thoroughly impressed with that car! YEAH!
Everyone acted very well, ESPECIALLY John Goodman! I can say this much, he knows cartoons! He was as good at Pops Racer as he was as Fred Flintstone!  LOL

My only gripes about the movie was the COLOR! Talk about overkill! Even the cartoon didn't have that much color! My eyes!  Shocked I should have sat in the back row! The other gripe was the profanity. Speed wouldn't talk like that; though I would expect it from Pops, and the gesture from Spritle wasn't necessary.
That should have earned that movie a PG-13 rating, instead of PG. I guess times are changing!  Confused
I really liked it, in spite of the over the top color; after all, I just came for the car! THAT CAR!  Drool
