My hubby was just talking to me about this movie. He wants to go see it tomorrow and I'm thinking it may be a good idea. A date night for us which we haven't had in a while.

I'm excited! I love the Indy movies and this will be the first one I get to see in the theater!  Very Happy/Big Grin

I plan to treat this Indiana Jones movie like I treat all of the other IJ movies... Wink

Hee, yeah, I'm a serious movie goer. As of right now, I have plans to see 2 movies this year.  LOL

I don't remember seeing these movies when I was younger, when I mentioned to mom that I'm not jumping up and down to see this movie cause I barely remember seeing the others she had me watch the original three movies on DVD.  They're fun movies, so now I can't wait to see it tonight Wink

Well, naturally, the Harry Potter movie in November...

And, most likely, the Get Smart movie next month.  It's one of the few tv remakes that the previews didn't leave me saying "WTF were they thinking???".  Whether the movie is good remains to be seen.  Wink

Yeah, I feel your pain, Kazari. I didn't like how this movie turned out.

Much sadness... *le sigh*

I've seen this movie twice now, and still enjoy it.  The beginning is GREAT!

I don't see it going wrong with the choice they made, each movie has had their farfetch story lines.  Be it a box that if opened people died who had their eyes open... a guy who was able to remove hearts without killing the ones he took the hearts out of... and a cup where if you drank it healed you and if you drank from the wrong one, you die...  and what about the guy who's been sitting there for what, thousands of years?....  they're touching things of history and going in different directions showing the power level for it.

Going with aliens makes sense and it's the right time for that big crash back in the day.  It had it's own interesting twist, still a lot of great action and fun comedy.

My family though has always shown interest in aliens, so maybe that's why we except this movie so much.
