Hey all, I have not posted here in a while... sorry been moving and finding jobs.

I don't know if this is the right section to throw this down.. BUT hey I'm talking about movies in the sense that I am looking for VHS's.

I can't say how much I love the Coming out of our shells music.... MAN I feel really strange saying that but hey I'm a turtle head... aren't we all. When I was growing up and had the cassette I had NO idea that it was a live show. I just thought the little pic of the four turtles playing the song was a bad make-up thing they just put in there. So here I am like 15+ years later and still haven't gotten my hands on the VHS of the show. I am getting the "making of" in the mail but want the tour. I have also learned there was a different tour and VHS all together?? "getting down in your town"?? Has anyone seen this VHS? I can't find it.

I would love to at some point track down the people who made these and see if we can get a better dub copied from the masters... they should exist on BataCAM masters somewhere in storage. It would be cool to even have DVDs. However I find it unlikely that these would ever be mass produced for public purchase because who out there would really care/want them? Other than us.

All in all, I am looking to find at least VHS copies of both the tours if anyone has an extra. Thanks!!

I LOVE the tour too and know many others who feel the same... the Tour was GREAT

I usually see copies of both "Coming Out of Their Shells Tour" and "Getting Down in Your Town" Tour on Ebay.  I got to see both of these shows live back in the day, big memories for me.  Sadly "Getting Down In Your Town Tour" never made it to a full size show, it was a cut show for Six Flags and the video is even edited down from what they had at Six Flags.

I moved this topic to Buy, Sell & Trade since it's looking for the VHS tapes.  I do recommend searching Ebay.

That's cool! I wish I had of made it. I have been watching Ebay, but haven't seen anything yet. I can't even say I know what the "getting down in your town" VHS looked like. So was it a new song set? Or the same songs as Coming out of our shells?

Three new songs and a one old song "Sing About it"   Though "Sing About it" was on the original sound track for the "Coming Out of Their Shells Tour" it was not performed in the show live.
