Hey all,

Since everyone has now migrated over to this board, should I now close down the Turtle Section of NTN.com?
I don't really see a point to keeping that section up and running anymore since no one posts on it...

fugitoid, is there a way to migrate forums from one board to another so we don't loose old posts?

I don't feel it should be closed down, or merged here because these are two different boards.   There's still a LOT more members on NTN even though it's quiet, and some of our members here are not even from NTN.   Notice how I even have a link there in my sig.   So I don't feel that this is nessary.

The more boards and places people can find the TMNT on the web, the better.   I don't think anyone should shut things down or anything for that reason.   Look at #TMNT, for YEARS only Raph, TN, PG and I kept going.   And many nights we couldn't even RP because I was working 68 hours a week, or they were busy, or we were sick... so it's not like it was active.  Though we kept it open.   Now people are starting to come in and say hi again and it's getting some what active.    If we closed #TMNT down because no one was coming or talking.... we wouldn't have this chance now to talk to the people who are coming.  Some people have even found TMNT-L through there from recently stopping by.

When you made the Turtle board, did you make it from your heart, out of the love of Turtles and wanting to help provide more space for people to enjoy talking about their Turtles?   Or did you make it only to keep traffic coming through your web site?  The board is there, and I check.  If there's a topic going on there that is of interest I would reply.  I did try to keep the board alive for awhile, but I felt alone doing so.

NTN has History, lots of fun post to go back and read, it has a guest we do not have here, it has interviews, it has a ton more members than we have.    Don't take something down because of a drout of post... give it a chance to live.

Good point about tmnt-l.com.  i had completly forgotten about my old IRC hangout.

Yep, it was created out of love for the franchise.  I just hate to see it so empty after it was full of life not more than a year ago, and I don't know what to do to bring people back.  Notice how I've taken the adds down so it's not just to draw traffic to the site Happy/Smile.

I've started posting review threads, so if people can chime in to help liven things up a bit there, most apprecated Happy/Smile.  Lets try and get some sense of community back :0.
