Oh man, that was a beautiful film, in terms of cgi and artwork. I really enjoyed the story and music, too. Pixar is always a favorite of mine!

That was a beautifully done movie, agreed! Enjoyed the the Peter Gabriel song at the end, too.
Did you watch during the credits? There was this great animated after-story going on, and everyone was getting up to go out of the theater, and not paying any attention to it.  Confused

I caught that extra bit at the end, too.  Loved the movie, as well.  Wonderful CGI and storyline.  And its message was right on.  I predict that it will sweep the Oscars for best animated movie of 2008.

Then again, there's still at least two more animated flicks yet to air - The Clone Wars and Madagascar 2: The Return to Africa.  I'm still puzzled as to why Lucas is doing an animated version of the Clone Wars, but I've read it has something to do with the television cartoon for fall.

What do you think the message was, reinbeauchaser? I think there were a couple different things going on.

I bought the special edition and honestly I thought the specials were better than the movie.

I loved this movie so much. I thought the whole message was about saving the Earth, but when I played the movie with commentary, Andrew Stainton (the director) said that there was no message about saving the environment at all. They just had to come up with a plot, and that's what they came up with. I loved it though Wall-E and Eve are the best, especially Eve. She doesn't take guff from anybody. A nicely done movie. I also can't wait to see UP. That one looks funny.
