Not really pointless... see if we want extras we gotta let the companies know there's money in putting out Turtle stuff, as long as the DVDs and stuff are not selling, they're not going to come out with future sets. So basically we're sealing it as a no go for future extras... though if they sell the companies behind the DVDs would want to find a reason for resale and may listen to Mirage about the extra features that we all want on the DVDs.
Steve Barron said he's got a lot he'd love to put on DVD, but he does need our help to let the companies know we want these features and will buy. This was discussed in the TMNT panel at San D, you can find it on youtube.
So letters and stuff help, but sales is always the way to talk to the companies.
It's the "25th Anniversary" that should be reason enought to have all the extras on dvd and blu-ray. I heard the new transfiers are not good. So yeah sloppy effort on there part. I guess over the years they have not made enought money our turtles.
