No Topic for this one?
A few Turtle guests, the usual suspects, will be at this one in September. Debating on wether or not to go, because Kyle Hebert will be making a rare personal appearance...

Anyone know if David Wise is going to show up again? THIS time I'm going to be prepared for him, and I HOPE we might be able to convince him to sit down and record a commentary for Turtle Tracks if he has 20 minutes to spare ...

Sadly I'm not going to this con. If they had different guests than ones I have already seen then I would but I just am tight for cash! Hopefully you can find someone who is going to help you out there, Brina!

I'm looking at going to this event...
It'd be My dad, Miki and I. Hopefully Crittle will be with us in our hotel room. Working out the plans right now, hopefully I'll be prepaying for my ticket tomorrow.
Working out hotel details right now.... I hate money

My boss just posted up the work schedule for next week. By chance she gave me Friday of the con off. However, I don't think I am going cause on friday nothing is really happening and I would also have to pay an extra day to trek into the city for a ticket (pre pay). If it were Saturday I would definitely go. But who knows maybe I will go but at this point I think I will just wait for NYCC 2009.

IVEY!!! Doesn't Mik like Vampire Hunter D? Have you read who else is going to be there? Check it out:
Yoshitaka Amano
Yoshitaka Amano is one of the world's most renowned artists, famous for his otherworldly fantasy illustrations. Amano-san began his career at Tatsunoko Productions where he serves as a character designer for series including Gatchaman and Casshern. After 15 years with the studio, he chose to leave the comfort of a steady job to pursue his career as an artist. As a freelance illustrator, Amano-san contributed covers and illustrations to novels including Hideyuki Kikuchi's Vampire Hunter D, Kaoru Kurimoto's Guin Saga, and Yoshiki Tanaka's The Heroic Legend of Arslan, teamed with Mamoru Oshii to create the film Angel's Egg, collaborated with Neil Gaiman to make the award-winning graphic novel Sandman: The Dream Hunters, and partnered with video game studio Squaresoft to create the look and feel for the company's flagship Final Fantasy series. Amano-san has worked with media including pencils, ink, paint, ceramic, stained glass, and fabric, and exhibitions of his work have taken place in cities including Tokyo, London, Paris, Berlin, and New York City. He is co-sponsored at the New York Anime Festival by Dark Horse Comics.
One year at San D, he was scheduled to be there and I stood in a line for almost 2 hours just to see him! I purchased his new comic and then he graciously signed every Final Fantasy item I brought with me! He also posed for a few pictures. Very sweet humble guy. Mik may want to stop and say hello.
