NY Anime Fest 2008

Heh if you look at the schedule I just posted, it shows I'm going to his panel Brin   We love Vampire Hunter D *G*  Though I'll admit to being a fan of the anime movies not the manga, never even picked that up.  This artist is known for the art in the manga, I'm excited that the creator of Vampire Hunter D is going to be there

Sadly though their autograph sessions do clash with panels I'm going to.  So I won't be going to their autograph sessions.

I've marked both Crittle and Miki as reg   So now all we gotta do is book our hotel room.

I think I'm going to register for Sunday only...  For the Who Wants to be a Voice Actor panel for two hours, and maybe one or two others..

I went to the second half of that panel last year, it was an interesting one.  It's a full out contest for people who want to be voice actors.  They had a panel of VA judges.  Though I don't like it that it's a Sunday panel, I never trust my voice on the last day of a con.

Oh, I see it now.  I scanned your schedule too fast and all I read was the underlined name, Hideyuki Kikuchi, and didn't see Amano's right beside it.     I love Vampire Hunter D as well, and I would probably go to the same panel as you...if I could.

Leaving for NYAF in a few minutes, just wanted to drop in and say hey before going.

Got our hotel booked, it's not our normal one but there's a bus rout and it cost about the same for a round trip.  And there's a pool at this hotel.  Sadly all the hotels in the area had their nonsmoking rooms booked up, so we had to get a suite instead of a normal room. 

Hope everyone has a good weekend and I'll be poking my head in from time to time, but this will be a very busy trip.

I THINK I'm going to sit this one out.  If I feel any better, I MIGHT make it Sunday.  But other than that, there is really only one panel I wanted to see on Sunday, and all the other stuff I could care less about...
