I don't know how many people here are fans of  Pokemon, but I wanted to give a nod to a voice actress from that series.   Maddie.

Maddie was a good person, I personally did not know her but I enjoyed the character she played on Pokemon, Meowth, part of Team Rocket.  She passed away last week in her sleep, from an illness.  She was sick for a few weeks without going to the doctors.  Sad/Down

Maddie was a good friend of Iruka's here on this forum, and I know from what I've heard and seen from Maddie that she was someone with a big heart.  She missed her role as Meowth, and would do voice things for Iruka to make videos to.

I am sorry to break this news to any who did not know, and my heart goes out there to all of her family, friends and fans.

Drawn and animated by Iruka for a video that I hope to see finished

The little bit of animation Iruka has up with some of the song and an intro:

It's truly truly sad....... I miss her as well. She was a friend to me too... Sad/Down Even commented on my Meowth voice as being better than her replacements. Of course with no resentment towards him, just that she liked mine better... ~.~ ...

It aches my stomach and heart to think about it. Also I wanted to say Thank You, to Mike for making such a nice comment to ANN about her... ;.;......

I couldn't stop crying all day yesterday due to the loss of my friend, and Mimi definitely couldn't stop being in grief off the loss of her really really good friend.  Mimi does intend to finish animating the video and putting it to Maddie's song that she sang PERSONALLY for Mimi, whom she claimed was her #1 Fan.

Just....hngh... It's gut wrenching...

I still keep breaking the news to people..... it's just still hard to believe she's gone.  I know you've mentioned her often to me, I wish we got you to NYC to meet her.

Sad/Down

thanks for showing what Mike said to me, Eclipse....

Quote from: Anime News Network
Update: Voice director and acting colleague Michael Sinterniklaas has told ANN, "We're deeply saddened by the loss of our friend, Maddie Blaustein. She was an incredible actress with unlimited range. She had recently started working for us as a writer as well. The community has lost a true talent and a great person."

I used to watch Pokémon all the time and really got into the show.  I think what I liked the most was the music and the voice actors, both were done so well and so entertaining.  When I was told the voice of Meowth passed away, it made me incredibly sad to think we've lost one of those entertaining folks.  Not to mention a friend to both her fans and co-stars.  I mentioned at LJ that it's always sad when we lose someone, but it's even more sad when we lose them during the holiday season.  Sad/Down
