I know a lot of us didn't go last year because of what happened with the guests, but does anyone plan to attend this year? If of course they reinvite Mike and the others. And if possible, we could push to get them invited. The con is from June 12-14.

I was just going over the website and noticed the con is being moved to Somerset, NJ at the Garden State Exhibit Center and DoubleTree hotel. This move means bad news kind of for those of us who would want to go into NYC. The new site is located further away from the city.

I am able to go to a convention this year and wanted to go to one in/near NYC so finally this time I could actually see a lot more, but most of them occur before my vacation kicks in.  Sad/Down There's the Anime Festival left in September I suppose should this one not come to pass for me.

It is a real disappointment about the move, though Miki and I still have our pre reg from last year that we could use this year.  So we might go, I gotta email their register people.  Hope more TMNT guest show up on the guest list.

I'm hoping really hard everything works out because this time I'm not going to be dealing with any airport craziness. I'm going to be an adventurist and drive to NJ. Hyper/Very Excited Totally under my own schedule, no leaving stuff behind I really want to take/bring back because I can't fit it into one suitcase or carry-on, and a little cheaper than an airline ticket, especially if gas prices don't go too high. Plus, I get to travel through states I've never been to before. Happy/Smile

*chews on bottom lip* I've been thinking about going ahead and reserving a room at the Holiday Inn across the street from the Exhibit Center. I'm almost 90% certain I'll go. I'm not registered yet, but I wanted to grab a room while there was still one for the grabbing. Granted, I'd be more assured if I knew that any of our favorite 4Kids VAs were attending, but it'd still be fun for us getting together and hanging out. Right?

I know most hotels allow a grace period with no penalities if canceled within that time if something should happen, but I'm hoping it won't come to that. I've sort invested a little on this trip already. So I'm really pushing to go.

I don't know if there is anyone who would be interested in sharing the room with me. I will be coming in town there the evening of the 9th. If you're coming that early too, I'd be happy to have you. I'll specify up to 4 adults on the reservation, but I'm sure there's space for a couple of more. I only ask that you help pay for the 11th-13th nights, the con days. The rest is completely on me.  Happy/Smile

Hmm, I guess that's it. If you think that sounds okay and want to room with me, please let me know.
