I should probably write my review....LOL I have been sick since the con so hence why I haven't yet! My memory is going to be bad so bare with me *laughs*
Thursday: I arrived at the hotel around 3:00pm. I made my way over to Red Lobster to pick me up some yummy food then watched television. After getting me a shower, I watched Hancock. GREAT movie
Ivey and the others stopped by my room to greet me then I fell asleep. I'm old so I can't stay up late
Friday morning: I went to the convention ahead of everyone because I was up early anyways! I got us a good spot in line! Then out of amazement, the TMNT came out to greet everyone in the line! The weird is that, Don make a bee line straight over to me and hugged me! *fan girls* Of course after this happens, I instantly call my mom to tell her the good news
Because yah I'm a dork! I started to tease Fae about how Brock Samson in VB looks like Hun and I think I started something the rest of the con *laughs*
Once inside, we went to the Playmates Booth and saw all the cool new toys and DVD's that are coming out. Then I went to see Scott and Kevin. Scott was very happy to see me
I bought a BodyCount book from Kevin and he sketched Donatello in it. Of course I had to quiz him before he did! I told him to guess which turtle that I liked and of course he couldn't remember LOL. Once getting my book, I made my way over to the Mirage Guys. I said hi to all of them and started to proceed to lose my money...to them *laughs* I don't even know how much I spent overall in pictures but it was well over $400 *laughs* Jim was happy to see me and even hugged me
He even didn't mind taking down a request for me so yay!
I skipped the Mirage panel because I was tired and hungry so I went back to the hotel to grab me something to eat! I spent the evening surfing the net and watching Next Mutation!
Saturday: Fae and Ivey met up with me to leave with me to the con. I'm an early bird so we left around 7:00! We took a taxi to the convention center and got our place in line. Luckily, we still had a good spot in line. I mostly wrote down fic ideas and listened to my Ipod. Once inside the convention, I walked over to say hi to the Mirage guys and pic up some more pics! I found my friend R2 so I broke from the group to show her and her friend around. She was dressed up as Harley Quinn and her friend was Poison Ivy so they were stopped a lot to get pictures. Once they met up everyone, I got a call from my other friend Janet that she was in the center so I let them go get some pics taken while I went to find her.
The convention center was PACKED! Janet and I went down and stood in line for the Robot Chicken panel! We were lucky enough to get seats but it was just insane! Seth Green was hilarious as always and now since I never really watched the show, I want to! I said goodbye to her while I stayed in the room to see Venture Brothers panel. I had to sit through another panel before that one. There was such a huge crowd outside that I didn't want to risk losing a seat!
The Venture Brothers panel lacked Brock luster so it was alright but not as good as last years! Course I kept teasing Fae about Brock/Hun LOL. I was able to sport off my awesome Brock shirt that I bought Friday!
After the panel, I went back to the hotel. I was getting sickly so I was not feeling well. I picked up something from BK and called it a night LOL. I think Ivey and Fae joined me for a bit too in the hotel room. Fae and I had interesting conversations while sipping on red wine LOL
Sunday: I got up early once again and waited for the bus. I thought the bus came at 6:30 but it came at 7:00 so I stood outside for nothing
I was feeling really bad by this day. Once in line, Janet joined us and we had interesting talks about some great fic ideas that we were coming up with! She wanted to see the showing for Dollhouse but she wanted to see if she won the raffle for an autograph so I hung around the con once it opened to see if she had a winning ticket. Fae and I got there at 11:00 just in time for the drawing! Sadly we won but the person she wanted, they were sold out of so we couldn't get it. Which was total BS!
I walked around then made my way down to the room for the 4kids panel. My friend R2 and her friend showed up so we sat together in the front!
Ok...*points to her sig* I DID ask the artist in 4kids about this. Of course he couldn't remember what the Ultimate Ninja looked like LOL After the panel, Ivey gave me the cover to the UN DVD so I walked over and showed him. He looks like and said "Oh my god, you're right!" Then he laughed and started to sketch a pic of Khan in this girl's autograph book. Man I wanted that but it was in her book *laughs*
I walked back around then headed over to the TMNT demo. I was feeling REALLY bad at this point so I just wanted to sit down and rest my body and throat. Ivey and Fae soon came over. The turtles were having photos with kids but I didn't want to fight kids so I just saved their spot for the demo. It was so cute to see all these kids for the TMNT show. They were carrying toys
. Janet, R2, and her friend joined us as well!
The TMNT Demo was a bit disappointing. They came out, introduced each other and that's about it. Don sort of danced....and Leo was just a big flirt. He kept flirting with April LOL.
I made my way to the Playmates booth to get my photos taken with the guys one last time. Janet joined me in line. We had some interesting turtle hentai talks so I think we scared this kid and his father behind us LOL. After our pics, we walked over to say bye to the Mirage Guys. I bought me a shirt for them to all sign and of course Peter made me pose with it and he put it on his blog!
I walked with Janet out and we said our goodbyes. I went back to the hotel to get doped up on medicine and call it a night.
Monday morning, I left pretty early once saying bye to everyone
BTW, my friend janet wins for sending me this awesome video she took at the Playmates booth that I missed. A guy came over playing Ninja Rap while Mikey and Don were there. Don started to dance to it LOL. She recorded it and sent it to me over the phone Friday night so I spent the whole weekend showing everyone and being easily entertained!
