Why won't the bad things stop??

Say the title in a very whiny, head cold voice... and that's how I'm saying it right now.

Its only February, and I'm tired of this year already. Break down of this year so far...

1. First week of January... hubby and I both come down with the flu.
2. Two weeks of not bad things happening, though the business is going into the crapper because clients can't pay their bills because the economy is in the crapper. Though that hasn't stopped our bills from coming in.
3. Last week of January... Ice storm hits and pulls the power box from our house and costs us $1200 for repair.
4. Hubby comes down with the worst case of a stomach virus I've ever seen and goes into the hospital. He takes two liters of fluids through an IV, and still needed more.
5. I come down with a much milder case of the stomach virus while out with Ivey to the Henson thing, which I didn't get to attend because of the stomach virus.
6. Last week...Come back from the Henson thing to find our power is still off and remained off for the next couple of days. Mighty cold nights too.
7. I come down with a sinus infection.
8. Today.... Hubby may have pink eye...
9. The basement becomes flooded with sewage...

That's where we're at right now... not  sure what happened... not sure how we're going to fix it... on a Sunday when this city basically shuts down.

This year is wearing me out... and its only February....

  Dreadful.

I don't know why such things seem to happen one after the other, either. It doesn't make sense. You certainly have my sympathies, as well.

Thanks Aig. Things did get better finally. Neither of us are too sick anymore... just coughs really. The basement has been de-sewaged. Though my parents ended up loosing power for a few days after severe windstorms knocked down their electric lines. Things are fixed there too, and before it got too cold again.

So, here's hoping the bad stays away for a bit!! lol

That's good that you all are recovering, now. 
Nothing like having to deal with crises when not feeling well. When that happens it just seems like everything is going you know where in a handbasket.

  Hmmmm.  The simple answer?  You're an Aires and the world likes to tick us off.

   The real answer?  Your energy field is down with a big hole in it and you're getting what I jokingly refer to as cosmic goon infiltration.   

   Can it be fixed?   Yes.

   First, you and hubby will have to do some energy field repair....some people call it an aura, which it is, but sometimes people don't like to hear that word....and once you get that done, then you can purify and protect your home base.

   There are some good books on this process by Barbara Y Martin.


      Yes.  I know this sounds like total Bulshoi, and a lot of people refuse to believe that's what this planet is based on.....but it's the truth.  It's-all-about-Energy.  Positive and negative.  The law of Attraction.

It's a very little-understood field for sure. Not something that science can explain, and most of us are indoctrinated with the mindset "if science can't explain it, can't be real" and so forth. The universe is a complex place.  Many mysteries remain.
