We need someone with a good  radio voice that's easy to listen too to help do interviews for us.  I'm obviously out of the picture in that department .

I had to move this topic to General Discussion. It just doesn't fit in the Events & Meet-ups forum.

Also, just so people aren't confused about this topic. What Shredder is talking about is starting up an TMNT Internet radio station. I came up with the idea and mentioned it to Shredder. I personally don't have the time or money at the moment to bring this idea to fruition, but Shredder is going to try to go ahead with it.

Anyhow, I'd like to throw my hat into the ring to help out on the interviews. I've never done any radio work but I think I'm a pretty good public speaker. I think I enunciate/pronounce words well. I don't have an accent that I can detect. People usually listen when I speak. Also, I can think on my feet (improv) quite well. However, just because I came up with the idea doesn't mean I should automatically do interviews. It should go to the person best qualified. I would just like to be considered.

I doubt he would remember, but could you ask him if he knows anything about that "Shredder's in Love" script from the old cartoon (and the other four missing episodes)?

We can always give it a try Fugitoid .  I figured I'd give Mikey the honor of interviewing Renae Jacobs if Mrs.Jacobs has the time to do it next weekend.  She definetly has the fun personality needed to do an on the foot interview .

Also, if anyone can recomend a good program for conferance calls done over an internet Broadband line( I'd need it so the interviewee can call the Interviewer via a land line, and the Interviewer can pick it up on a computer program and begin recording.  Preferably from a company that charges in US Money.  Someone recomended Skype, but I have no idea what ten Pounds equals in US funds ).

Also, I need a customized drawing for the site.  A Picture of Mike Listening to a boombox next to his 'ear'(if turtles even have 'em ), and the other turtles angrilly trying to get him to shut the radio off .\

Edit:  I was doing some thinking on what the Shredder in Love script might be about, and came up with my own scenario...

Shredder and Krang are w atching Live News reports as usual, and see a female ninja being captured and put in jail by the turtles.  Shredder recognizes her instantly as his high school sweetheart from Japan... "I wasn't always evil, you know...."

Determined to rescue her, Shredder fights off a whole contingent of guards, breaks into her cell and frees her from prison.  Determined to renew the relationship on a dating basis right then and there, Shredder is surprised when he gets rejected and the female ninja flees.  Crushed, Shredder tempmorarilly puts aside his evil ways, and heads off to the one person he knows who can help...April OnNeil and Irma at CH 6.        Shreder makes a grand entrance, the only way he knows how,  by blasting his way into a live broadcast... "Putting aside our distances, and focusing on our relationship, I need your advice"  "Relationship?  What relationship?  You kidnap me every chance you get!"  "Isn't that how the best ones start?"

April eventually breaks down and gives him some sound love advice to use on his ninja girlfriend, with an evil twist.  Eventually, nothing works out and Shredder goes back to  his evil ways, calling the female ninja every wrotten word in the book.  This, however interests her... "So, you DO have some evil spark in you yet!"  And eventually they go off happilly ever after and team up on future missions ..

I'm getting our first playlist together.  It's going to have to be three hours long, so I may have to comprimise the premise in the begining..

It definetly can't be limited ot only turtles music.  No way in heck are we going to have three hours of turtles music available to us since we can't program  the whole CD Soundtrack at once.  Since we're limited to two songs per CD back to back, and no more than three all together, I'm going to have to include songs from Animation Soundtracks, and TV soundtracks.

The first lineup of 3 hours should be fun.  With stuff ranging from Simpsons, to Muppets, to Space Ghost .
