NWOG, please not everyone can go to every event... esp when they are far from where we live though you don't see us posting like any of us can do anything about it. We are not the ones to set up these events, we are only reporting where the events are so people can try and see them.
Now you know almost all of these events could be free to the public so if you can go to the US you may want to plan one of the other events, that is not San D since San D will cost to get in. That way you could see the Turtles and not worry about the pass needed for San D Comic Con.
If you have friends in any of the cities that are willing to let you stay at their house for the weekend of the event that could help save you money as well. Though if you're going to do this Do not post in any of the event topics till you are 100% sure that is the event that you're going to make it too. This way you're not getting fellow fans hopes up to get the chance to meet you, only to turn around and report that you're not going.
Just like everyone else on this forums only post if there's a real chance of them being there.
I'm sorry if you can't make it to any of these events, there's many events in England that people miss out on everyday. Even if not TMNT, trust me I would love to go to England one of these days and go to London Comic Con, but I'm not going to go posting in the topic that "I'm going... I'm not going... I'm going" I'll only say I'm going if by some far weird chance I know that there is a huge percent chance of me going. So I'm just asking you not to try and make us feel bad, that is not what these topics are about.
These topics are not here for one single fan... they're here for all of us. I post them if I'm going or not going to an event. I feel bad if I can't go, but that is it. I know I'm not going to get people's hopes up for a meet up, if I know there's no way I'll be there. These topics are here for fans to find events in 'Their area' or ones where they can get to, so that they're public.
So if you want to make a difference contact your local conventions and request TMNT stuff, email the pages that are holding the events and ask them if there's going to be anything in England, if not don't get upset with them cause they can't afford to do everything, but I do know there are some things that should be going on there this year. So keep an eye out for them. Though coming to fellow fans isn't going to make a difference at all... we can't do anything to change the events going on in your area. I have never done anything that affected anything in England.

Ooohhh ok, well haven't learned any more info than what's been posted... confused me cause I thought I said museums in this topic heh. I will make sure to post as we learn... I think it's insane that they hold off information till so close to the event, we still need to know where they're going to be in PA and MI, which is both less than a month away. |
