...well...mebbe not event, but...actually I dunno exactly what it was.

I work in that mall, and I'm usually there every Sunday. This past Sunday, as I was going through a part of it to get to the transit center, I hear "And do you know who this is? That's right! It's Raphael!"

I stopped dead in my tracks, and eyed the crowd up ahead. In the rotunda right behind the entrance to Underwater World, they had the stage set up, as they do every Sunday, and there was some dude up there holding up action figures and asking the group of kids and parents who said action figures were...then handing them out!

I saw a Cartoon Network banner up, but there really wasn't much other decoration, so there's no clues to that.

It was just cool to see something going on with the turtles, and to see such a crowd gathered to see it.

And no, I didn't go up to check it out more as 1: ...well, I'm a 25 year old woman...why would I snatch stuff up that kids have more of a right to than I am? and 2: I'd been there since before 7 that morning and I just wanted to get home.

'Course I couldn't resist the obligatory "Ninja Turtles?? SWEET!" And then grin sweetly at the people suddenly veering around me and giving me frightened looks. *G*

I don't have the heart to grab toys from lil' kids, what can I say? Or really the tolerance from the resulting wails..*twitch*

And yeah, Mindy, I love hearing about/seeing turtles stuff in public, too. I get such a huge kick out of seeing kids in TMNT shirts and shoes...it's just awesome. *G*

It was listed on ninjaturtles.com and we had it listed in the event area.  I just locked it since the tour is over.
