The TMNT event in Michigan started on May 4th, my birthday... which of course was great. I spent the day with Frenzy and Miki as we did a lot of stuff before heading to the Tiger game, like going to Hot Topic, Sam's Club, and Walgreen.
At Wal-Green we had photos from NY and PA printed up to bring with in a folder to show people the other stops, this went over well at the event.
When we got there they were still setting up, there was already people there who came for the event. So we talked with them a bit and got to say hi to everyone there. Some of the people there were members of the
ATA which is the Karate group traveling with the TMNT Tour. We talked with them, only one of them will be with the Turtles at every stop.
At the event for that day, they were giving out the reprint of TMNT 1 that came out for "Free Comic Book Day" and buttons. They had the game set up to play. Leonardo and Michelangelo were the two Turtles here for the game. They came out did a few pictures in front of the bus, than went into the Stadium and took a lot of pictures walking around.
Frenzy was funny, this was her first time seeing the Turtles on the tour and she let out this funny fan girly scream when Leonardo came out. Miki and I couldn't help but let out a bit of a laugh, it's great to see another fan so into this!
Her and I got our pictures with the TMNT a few times through the day. So I will share those photos soon.
At the game we learned the Turtles were going to dance during the 7th ending for "Take me out to the Ball Game" song. So we stayed for that. They were on the other side from where we were standing... we got some photos of this as well.
After that we went outside and said our good byes to everyone. I'll be seeing them again on Wednesday.
