I'm an avid movie-goer, and I just adore watching movies at home either by myself or with friends. So, after last night's screening of the new Star Trek movie, I thought about starting up a movie review area on here. We already have a few movies that have been reviewed, so why not start up a place where we can keep track of those movies.

In this topic, we can list all previous movie reviews and then make reply posts when other movies have been reviewed in our Lounge Area. I'll get to listing the already reviewed movies as soon as possible (work keeping me busy and all).

And as with most of our other fun activities, there has to be rules. So here we go:

1. If your review includes even the SMALLEST of spoilers, use the spoiler button! Just highlight the chunk of text that has the spoilers in it, and click the Spoiler Button (labeled with the "Sp"). No need to ruin anything for the others. Happy/Smile

2. Put movie stats into the review. By this I mean include the actually name of the movie, what genre, and what MPAA rating it has. All of this information can be found at http://www.imdb.com. I know it's added work, but that will help the others who may end up wanting to watch the movie you are reviewing.

That's it! Only two rules! See, it wasn't so bad. Wink

One thing I would like to ask though is if those who review movies from now on include a poll for others to take with this rating system:

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up = LOVED IT!
Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up = Liked the movie
Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up = It was an ok movie
Thumbs Up Thumbs Down = Could have been so much better
 Thumbs Down = Just terrible!!

So, there we go. We're all set for reviews! Remember, if you have put up a review, post in here with a link to your review! This way we can all easily find your review! Happy/Smile
