Hiya Sam, I'll like to welcome you to TMNT-L, it's great to see you here!  It really is a great honor that you'll take the time to join our forum. I know you're also a member on Ninja Turtles Network Forums. I was thinking of doing the same thing here as was done on that forum, where there's a topic for the guest. Which could be for personal talk or questions. If that's ok with you. I was wondering if you could take a second to tell us about yourself and how you got the job as Donatello for 4Kids. Thanks again for joining us here at TMNT-L. (I'll edit this out after the event is over, though for those who haven't checked the events area. Sam is a guest at Anime Vegas.)  |

I'm sorry about asking for Toddler Don, heh been doing that this year got the idea at Anime Next when Wayne did Young Joey... got him to do Toddler Michelangelo there. Hey Sam, I was watching Zatch Bell one night and I couldn't help but notice that you were the voice of a childlike Memoto. I got sidetracked though talking to Ivey on the phone but it looked like a good episode. I'd love to know what other shows you've been involved in.

Hiya Sam! I was just watching some anime I'm borrowing from Eclipse here on the board. Like always I looked at the credits, though only saw one name I knew on the list which was Lisa Ortiz. Well I realized I knew the main character's voice though was I surprised when I realized just who the voice was... Heh I did not remember that you went by the name Jack Lingo (I know it was mentioned on the Ninja Turtle Network before), so when I first looked at the credits I really didn't know it was you. Though the voice kept nagging at me, so I checked online and found out that it was you. I really love your work on "Comic Party"!!!! Though I'm a bit disappointed that the DVDs have only has interviews with the Japanese VAs and not the English VAs. I'm curious as to why you use two names if you don't mind me asking? I'm really enjoying Comic Party and I got a feeling I'll be getting a set for myself, when I can afford it. |

I have another question for you Sam... heh bad of me, though this is a TMNT related question...
Do you feel like Donatello has been taking a lead role in this series or a supporting character?
I ask this, because it seems that in a lot of the episoides it seems like Donatello is there, though he doesn't play a big key part in the series. I'm wondering if you guys feel that as well or not.

Hey Sam! I just wanted to tell you, you are doing outstanding as Shino on Naruto. How does it feel playing the bug guy? He is one of the few characters on the show that Naruto respects and listens to... as Naruto is scared is him  |

Man, I still need to go back through 12 Kingdoms and see if I can hear you anywhere. I'm curious where it is. (You said at Anime Vegas you played voices on that anime) I was also going through my Here is Greenwood and I could have sworn I heard you say a line of one of the students as they were running in the halls. Is that correct? If so, what other animes have you been in? And who are you playing in Naruto?

Dark Angel -- yes, I loved the show growing up. And I liked Corey Feldman as Don the best.

Enjoying the new season? Yes...and no...but enjoying parts of it, yes! No one can deny Don is getting some very good lines and moments in the new season. But at least it seems our boards here are not outright nasty about it. Even if there are some things we don't care for (the animation change), and some stuff we're not sure about yet (possible toy gimmick over good story), it seems most of us are willing to be patient and wait for more episodes. |

The only thing for ME that has been the saving grace (for the moment) is the fact that you all are still the voices. If they had changed that as well, then I would have been long gone.
I wish you could tell me, who voiced "the Ancient One" if you remember-- I have wondered, because to me it sounds sometimes like it could be Wayne G. or John C.
