Other obsessions? (Pictures welcome)

So we're all obsessed with TMNT we know that much, but what else are ya'll obsessed with?  I can't be the only person with multiple obsessions...

The other thing that takes a HUGE chunk of my cash is my balljoint doll Key.  I hope to add at least three more of these to my collection but as the cheapest one will be $300 it will probably be two years before I have them all.

Yeah, I'm obsessed with "The Phoenix". I'll take pictures later of my collection. Preferrably after the next few statues I need.

Also obsessed with "Marvel Select" figures. Very cool stuff.

To be fair that WAS a trial run, I didn't look quite so tired at the con.  

I do LOVE cosplay I'm just forced to get very creative with found things.  I'm definitely a found cosplayer.

I'm also obsessed with collecting things. Liiike Plushies of all my favorite characters from Animes...or cartoon movies. Cards, Pogs, Dragons, Gargoyles, Phoenix Birds..... Casper.... Lion King.. sheesh. I'm totally obsessed and crazed about a ton of things. Too many to name.

As for me, I've always been an obsessive collector. The collection du jour changes, but the obssessive nature does not. And I never completely stop collecting...it may slow down, but never stops.

Living Dead Dolls are my current collecting obsession.  I've got 66 full sized dolls, over 30 mini dolls, glasses, board game, trading cards, bobbleheads, mini lights, lunch box, porcelain doll, books, fashion victims...

I'm also obsessed with Taphology/Taphophilia (I've heard it called both). I love taking pictures of historic cemeteries.



Judging by the fact that I've got well over 900 pics in my photobucket account, I'd say that photography is an obsession, too.

@ Mindychan:  That's okay the costume wasn't very good.  *L*  It also didn't involve much.  I wore my work pants, belt and boots and had my mom shorten a shirt for me.  My hair wasn't exactly the right shade (I think I dyed it after that picture thoug) because I was coloring it for my Mana (Malice Mizer) costume.

@ Raphael:  I used to collect Living Dead Dolls but I stopped because I thought they were getting kind of silly.    That and I couldn't afford the ones I really wanted at the time.  Still, I have my Eggzorcist which makes me happy.  I also love taking cemetery pictures.  Charleston is full of cemeteries.  This is an old picture from when I was relying on my crappy little point and shoot camera five years ago or so but I don't have any newer ones uploaded for some reason.




I also love exploring and taking pictures of abandoned buildings.

Ooh, cool death's head there, OnnaRaphael. I've been as far south as...Massachusetts, so I love seeing how stones are decorated in other areas.

Yeah, collecting LDDs gets rather expensive, especially if you start getting into handmades & customs (I managed to get a Jack Sparrow custom for $90, which was great). I've got an Eggy (actually, two...regular and Blue), she's cute. They're up to series 10 now.

Do you ever go out to LiveJournal? There's a community there called "Urban Decay" that you might find interesting (there's also "Deathly Decayed", too).

I used to be in Urban Decay but I left it.  A person I sorta knew was the mod and bad things happened in their life leaving them away from LJ for a while.  I guess someone complained to the LJ staff because they then handed the community over to someone else and when the original owner came back they found they no longer owned the community.     I didn't like that.

On the LDDs, while I don't collect them anymore I still love the ones I have and definitely hope to get some of the ones I missed.  Also I hated dolls when I was a kid so I consider those as being what got me back into them.  So if I'd never gotten into LDDs I might have never gotten into balljoint dolls.  Though considering balljoint dolls cost around $500 each for the ones I want that might have been a good thing...
