I Found Another Stray Turtle, Believe It Or Not

Remember that topic where I said that I found a turtle on a blacktop highway and I swerved out of the way to avoid hitting it?  Would you believe just this afternoon, while biking in the 110 degree Chicago heat index, I found another stray turtle on the side of the bike path?  That's two turtles in a week, what are the odds?  This one wasn't crossing any highway; it was hiding in its shell on the side of a bike path in the forest preserve.  I wish I could of nugged it back in the grassy woods just to keep it where some mean teenager wouldn't hurt it, because (no offense to kids and teens out there reading this) kids and teenagers tend to think it's funny and cute to see harm to an innocent animal, and I wish I had pushed the turtle out of the way, but being a wild creature I didn't want it to go nuts on me.  My dad has two turtles of that same species, and it goes nuts when frightened.

PS: Who ever deleted my last turtle memory of me nearly running over that turtle last week, do me a simple favor, DON'T DELETE MY TOPICS.  That kind of got to me that I spend the time speaking my mind and it suddendly vanishes.  So who ever deleted that one topic of mine, please leave them alone?

PS: I don't mean to get off topic here, but there's BREAKING NEWS Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett died today.  Jackson died less than an hour ago at age 50 from cardiac arrest, and Fawcett dies at age 61 from cancer that badly damaged her liver.  I remember her only from the Burning Bed.  She's a VERY beautiful woman and it's a sad loss today.
