Oh man I know I'm missing a lot of names right now... heh just waking up... let's just say everywhere you turned in this crowd was Turtle fans... most of which are highly known here on the internet and so deserved to be there for everyone to meet.  And hearing all of our reactions together...

We waited in line, once we got in people got their seats... the bar had some sort of slime drink for us as freebies (2 per a person), they had pizza and salad (not the best dressing though).  They had cake (I didn't grab any was too into moving around talking with people).  They had screens all over the place to watch the video on, I took third row... 1 and 2 was too close to the screen... nobody sat in those rows.

I went around and talked with people.. fans and guests all mingled together talking and just having a good time.  The vibes there was great.. fans who don't always get along able to hang out in the same room without any drama.  It was just one of those wonderful times where you wish it would never end.

When the movie started everyone was glued to the screen.. I know I couldn't get up to go for a drink or anything.  Check out the review topic for "Turtles Forever" for more information. 

After the movie we all buzzed with excitement.. even a few fans who came in originally not sure if they wanted to see this were just so excited and happy about the outcome of this showing. 

All in all this is going to be the biggest thing for Turtle fans this year...

I don't care what area of TMNT you are a fan of!   WATCH "Turtles Forever" this is FOR EVERYONE!

Well besides for the Next Mutation.... that's the one area of the Turtles I didn't even see a hint towards in this... kind of figured it wouldn't be in there, but just don't want to get anyone's hopes up.

Any how back to the party... we spent a long time just hanging out after the party, talking about the movie, going over how many of us were there, getting to talk with Mike and Sam and tell them how great they did.   

I truly thing we should have a "Turtles Forever" party in other places before it's aired on TV so more fans can get together and see it as a group as those of us here in San D did last night.

Sounds like it was awesome, Ivey. I'm glad so many people were there that you could meet and see. I'm also glad that Sam and Mike were there as well. I'm sure they loved the compliments. I'm definitely going to be checking Turtles Forever because it sounds like it was awesome from your review.

It sounds like it was amazing, I'm so jealous!! I really wish I coulda been there for that! I can't wait to see it for myself....even if it's by myself, I'll throw my own lil party! lol  Wink

Sadly, since it was a club and the fact that I'm only 18, I couldn't go.
Frankly, I think it was dumb to put it in a club. Since the younger people couldn't come along to see it.  Confused

That's awesome.  I'm so bummed I didn't get to see it.  I had this knarly migraine that day a few hours before I went to the panel and I needed to eat plus I didn't want to miss the panel on the new TMNT movie.  By the time I recovered from my headache and got something to eat and finished viewing the panel they stopped handing out most of the TMNT 25th buttons that I needed to collect.  So I couldn't get in.  It's all good thought I was super happy to finally meet the artists from Mirage this year and I got a picture with Ernie Reyes Jr.! YEAH! Plus I got to meet ya Ivey, and she demo'd the COMBAT COLDCUTS.  He's super cool.  I hope they air that ep from the Galabunga either on tv or include it in the Blu-ray TMNT movie collection pack.  I missed out, stupid headaches.  Thanks for posting about it Michaelangelo!

"Turtles Forever" will be on DVD and aired on CW... I highly recommend picking up the DVD as soon as it's released.

Hiya all,

Finally got the party pics on my computer yay so I can share with everyone.


The line to get in.

Inside.

Looking back towards the bar from the seats.


Looking towards the side screens so everyone had screens they could see.


The cake table, I heard the cake was good though I never got around to getting any.


Gary doing the drawing before the movie, as the Turtles were in front the screen.  The screens kept replaying the ad for Smash Up


Everyone in our seats and ready for the video to start!


Yes it is dark, though this is the crowd drawn deep into "Turtles Forever"


The credits began to roll as we stood and clapped what a show!


Mike got a hold of the TMNT Doc people's camera and interviewed me.

Awesome thanks for posting the pics of the party.  Very cool.  Looks like it was a great time.  Yeah I'll be sure to check out "Turtles Forever".  It sounds so epic.  I'll try and post a review.  Thanks for the link.

I look back at this event and feel it to be such a blur of TMNT awesomeness.  It was so dark, for one, but a very club-like atmosphere.  Many friends were present including ones I never met before and the food was very tasty.  I didn't have any alcohol, just Cherry Cokes with cherries in them, a rarity that I hardly get.  The food was of course pizza of a variety, I chose the veggie one because it's not as salty, and then piled on some green salad.  There was a cake, but I never got to try it.  I'm honestly not a dessert person, so I'm not too bummed over it.

The TMNT were there, so I finally got my photo with all four and then with Don by himself.  The screen constantly ran the ad for the new game before "Turtles Forever" started up.  Oh, and I did win something in one of the door prizes.  A Splinter action figure!  I've been missing him for years, always a hard one to find.  I thoroughly enjoyed the chats among guests like Gary Richardson, Dan Berger, Jim Lawson, Emily Laird, Mike Sinterniklaas and Sam Regal.

That was the most awesome party ever! I have lots of memories from that night I will cherish forever. Happy/Smile
I think it would be a great idea to have viewing parties when Turtles Forever is finally released on DVD.
