Rocksteady *Villain of the Season*

Rocksteady is best known for the original cartoon series 1987 to 1996.  He was the leader of his gang, that was hired by the Shredder to take out April O'Neil.  Though when they went against April his gang and him was beaten by the Ninja Turtles.   Shredder had to find away to fight the Turtles and wanted to have freak against freak, so he choose two members from the gang for his first mutants.  Rocksteady was one of those members, as he was mutated half Rhino.

Rocksteady was through most of the series as Shredder side kick, and one of the main loved villains in the series.  With Bebop by his side, there was barely anything they could do right.  As Shredder and Krang would fight over who the two mutants belonged to. 

Rocksteady was also in the Archie Comics, with the same beginning story line though they went in a different direction.  Of getting to go free with Bebop from the Foot.

I think Rocksteady is cool.  Even though Bebop and Rocksteady aren't Original Volume 1 they will always have a place in my heart.  As a kid I kinda always wished they would have been in the TMNT 2 movie instead of Tokka and Rahzar, but they grew on me too.  Especially since the 2nd movie was leading away from the V1 comic realm anyways.  Either way though Rocksteady is a great character and is a pretty freakin' cool mutant.  Props to Rocksteady!
