Hey everyone, This is GREAT The "Turtles Forever" Movie is going to theaters! That's right, it's GOING to theaters!!!!! How freaking cool is that? To cool! Across the United States on October 29th, Turtle fans will be lining up at theaters to see "Turtles Forever". So ok, we can't do a topic for every theater, there's just too many. So we're doing one topic. October 29th, 7pm (local time) will you be going to see the movie at a theater? (IT IS SO WORTH IT!) If you are going, please let us know which location you're going to see it at. Fans Going to the Movie:Michaelangelo (either Mount Pleasant, MI or Portland, OR depending on where I am) Fugitoid : Portland, OR (?) Raphs_Girl : Hamilton, NJ URL: http://www.ncm.com/Fathom/Premiere/TMNT.aspxLocations: http://www.ncm.com/FathomContent/PDF/Participating_Theatres_TMNT.pdfI personally hope any TMNT fan who has not gone to this yet get the chance to go! One Day in Theaters... a "Not to Miss" event!

How long is the movie? I was under the impression it was quite short... Also, any official word yet on whether/when this will be on TV?

It's the length of three episodes... but the length and being on TV does not take back from what this movie is.... trust me when I say it is worth seeing on the big screen, esp since we don't know if something like this will ever come up again to see the movie.
It is worth seeing it with other fans if you know them or not... this is the TMNT movie to NOT miss on, esp getting a chance to see it on the big screen.

Three episodes, minus the commercials, so about an hour? The one nearest to me is a little less convenient than I might want to deal with for a short movie. (I have a life rule about travel times versus time actually spent in places.) And especially with the timing... I would probably have to go directly from work, which would be awkward. If I do go, it will be Paramus, NJ!

Was it updated as playing in the AMC Theater in Paramus?
I was thinking of going to the Clifton Commons, but Paramus Parking lot would be safer than Clifton which has a habit of car break ins...

If it's playing here at one of my theaters, count me there.

Damnit. It's not playing anywhere in my city and the nearest one is about an hour and a half's drive away. I won't know if I'll have the day off yet or not.

That's really lame! They go and tell all the fans about it, even though the deal wasn't set!? Pretty sad...

Not to mention completely unprofessional. This is not a way to conduct a business venture. Mirage/4Kids are jeopardizing themselves further.

It's not just Mirage/4Kids fault though, it's also the theaters, and the reason why I say this is someone I follow on DA had already bought her tickets in her area to watch it. So if there wasn't a completed deal WHY did the theaters even begin to sell the tickets as well?? (Thankfully she was able to get a refund)

Well it doesn't say that it's exactly canceled, but put on hold. Hopefully it will be played at some point after all. If so, I'll be there with bells on, and complete Turtle attire in Canton Ohio.

Word is there was something in the contract with the theaters that neither side could agree or compromise on.
