HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Hey everyone!  What are you doing for Thanksgiving?  Are you having a big meal?  Are you cooking?   Is someone else in the family cooking?  Do you eat at your house or a family member's house?  What are you having for dinner?  Are you going to watch the parade on NBC?   Is today even Thanksgiving for you?  

Tell us about your day!   Very Happy/Big Grin

Hope it's a great one with a lot of wonderful food!

Happy tanksgivin' to you too, Mikey, and to everyone else...reallyreally belatedly to the Canadianers out there. Wink

As for me...heading up to the in-laws in a few hours, as per usual...gonna call around to my variouse family...aaaaaand that's about it.

Yeah...you're the second to ask about cooking...man...I burn jello. I doubt there'd be a structure left standing if I attempted turkey!

Hey! Been up since six, got the bird on a little while ago. Taking a little break now 'cause we don't have to fix the rest of the meal just yet.

Got the parade on, or at least on the channel. Had to check the website to make sure I didn't miss it and to be certain I had the right channel. Stupid TV Guide channel on our station listed a Thanksgiving Parade, which I suspect is probably the Rose Bowl parade. Had to wait 'till the listings showed 9 am before we saw that Macy's was where I thought it was.

Gonna tape it 'cause Earl's sleeping still, and I'm gonna be busy.

Got my dad and gram coming in later, closer to noon, gonna be a lot of family time afterwards, provided we aren't all passed out from too much bird. Very Happy/Big Grin

I was up till almost 4:00 am working on leaf cookies to bring to my parents today so I'm going to be taking a NAP this afternoon!  *L*  Currently I'm watching the parade on both channels (I JUST got DVR with picture in picture yesterday) instead of frosting my cookies.  *L*

Hey all! I hope those of you who are celebrating thanksgiving are having an awesome day today and to those who have already celebrated i hope it was great!

Today i'm going to be making cheesecake (very simple recipie and delicious!). Then after i eat dinner with the family, i'm heading over to a potluck at a friends house. I gues you can't really call it a real potluck because they're supplying most of the food, heh, i was told they got a ton of turkey and ... i'm so glad i have the day off work tomorrow so i can just veg out.

Yesterday we had a potluck at work! One of those fun time for me at work, it was a lot of fun! There's one girl who works in our bakery and she made this salad which was layers of shredder potato, eggs, salad, white onions, beets and pomigrant seeds on top with some green onions. It was really pretty, you couldn't be sure if it was decoration or not. I was the first to brave and try it out though! Razz I'm always willing to try new things at least once!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope it was a really great day for all of you! Happy/Smile

I just sat around watching the parade and finishing up the Christmas shopping list for tomorrow. (Don't woryr I'll be a nice person. XD) After that we went over to my Aunts and had Thanksgiving, came home and now were just sorta chillin. Oh yeah, I finally came up with my own style to try and Draw the turtles in! :3

Good to see I'm not the only one crazy enough to go out tomorrow.  My sister is picking me up at 4:30 am tomorrow.   Shocked   Since I normally stay up till 3:00 or so on nights when I don't work the next day I probably won't bother even going to bed tonight.  But yeah I'll be one of the sane ones, I've worked that day and know how crappy it can be.  

My Thanksgiving was pretty good.  My cookies did turn out and they were so cute!   Love   Now I'm thinking I'll be making little "care packages" for my friends this Christmas and I'll include those in them.
