There is a online radio show called "The Nerdy show" that did an episode based on the recent TMNT news, they titled the episode "TMNT R.I.P."  with guest Roseangelo talking about the recent buy out, and what may come of the Turtles.

oh shell no way. I'd be heart broken. Don's the reason i love computers. aside my fav color is purple and aside that he's my fav turtle. Last Sunday night, I took my small plushie Turtle, Don, to a Capitals' game.  { Sad to say, Capitals lost to the Columbus hockey team. *grumbles*}. Anyways.... I always take my small plushie turtles when i travel. Please don't let this bee the end. Tonja/PokeballGal and I still have our HUGE Team Turtle Squad rp going. Miss ya. *hugs*

It's not the end of the Turtles themselves Misty, though it is the end of Mirage owning the Turtles.
