"Bad Day" is the 3rd ep in Season 4. It can be found on the DVD "Shredder's Final Countdown". In the 4Kids Show of the Week Messages we will be posting spoilers about the show. From our favorite scenes, to what happened to what characters and what mistakes did you catch in the show? So if you're not one for spoilers and have not seen this one yet, Don't read it.  Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler! Spoiler!What can I say about this show? WOAH! I gasped when Klunk wasn't saved... I let out a EEP when the van blew up... I was on the edge of my seat when I saw the elemental warriors... it was like a total ride and one I truly enjoyed! It was an edge to edge show, keeping you guessing who they were really against and what was really going on... Seeing how Season 4 is starting off, I'm wondering if it's going to be too dark... I mean, look at the other two eps just before this one... Leonardo has changed and I don't know how I feel about Leonardo's change... I'll like to hear more from him, how he's feeling... not just watch him turn into a second Raphael.... Though Leo deserves a topic of his own, watch for that to appear soon. It's interesting how much we see in this one show, learning just how mad the Foot has gone, and how much trouble the Turtles are about to see in their future. It's no longer just a joy ride, they're on a steep roller coaster that just keeps getting more dangerous with every group of people who ride it! And I know we're going to see a bunch of ups and downs before the end of the ride.  For those who saw it, what was your favorite parts of this ep? How do you feel about the changes happening... and the tension between Leo and Splinter at the beginning of the show? |

"Bad Day", no matter where it falls in the new season (see my reply in the Leo topic regarding the timing of the eps), is going to go down as one of my favourite eps in the series. It was action filled, angsty, tense, exciting, had some comedy and showed what Karai is up to, regarding the taking over of her 'father's' footsteps. *snicker* FOOTsteps, cute, Raph...  Do I think the season is going to be too dark? No. Do I think it'll be a bit darker than the previous seasons? That's possible. It's still a Saturday morning kid's show, subject to the censors and rules that govern kids' tv, so they won't be able to make it too dark (dangit). I had no fave parts of the episode, it was all good. The moment when Shredder goes after Splinter...in the back of your mind, you know Splinter must be right...but, still.... And, dang, it's getting painful to see the guys getting their butts kicked so much in fights. Between that ep and the 2 part season ender also on that DVD, the guys really take a beating (and to mention one moment from the Cousin Syd episode...I wish they wouldn't use that bone crunching sound effect so much. It reminds me of the time I broke my foot and the bone got moved, and the pieces rubbed together...OW!!!!!). |

I had a hard time with watching so many good characters go down... like when Klunk goes down at the beginning of the show, my heart just sunk into my chest. At that time I knew he couldn't be dead... they'd find him washed up... but when the van blew up with April and Casey in it, I knew this couldn't be for real! I wasn't sure if they were going to make the TMNT known to the public or not, because of how things have gone in the Mirage comics, I have to say I'm relieved that they didn't make them known to the public... and how the show turned out was really well written... but I know I was gasping and letting out small little screams and 'nos' all through the show to where my mom kept yelling up stairs... "Is everything ok?" I had to bring down the DVD and show it to her!  |

Oh my god I couldn't believe this episode, I was watching it alone though so I could let out 'Nos' and gasps as much as I wanted, I thought this episode was really interesting, like, especially at the end there, the turtles totally kicked shell. But it was an emotional one too, where it really played with their feelings and it was a little hard to watch. But it still had a happy ending, and overall it was a good ep, I can't wait to see what else happens with those new bad guys though.

Didn't you notice Klunk during the whole Untimate Draco storyline? He was right there on the sofa when Donatello said "Someone quick, grab the-" right before they all got zapped across time and space.
