A boy's bowl of pet turtles falls into the stench of an underground city sewer. They land on Splinter, a penniless but powerful ninja master who lives in the muck.

Splinter's enemy, Shredder (leader of the evil Foot Clan), pours a disgusting green ooze over Splinter (and accidentally, the Turtles!), hoping to zap him dead.

Instead, the turtle pets mutate into turtle teens, and Splinter turns into the biggest rat ever to face a trap.

Splinter, the big cheese leader, teaches the Turtles the ways of the Ninja! Together, they form a kick-stomping fighting team for the side of good against the deadly Foot Clan! Get ready for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

I want to share a little story about this toy, at least the one I have.

I got it at San D Con 2009 as the Ubisoft booth was throwing it to the crowd.  Here's the story copied from my San D Con Review

So I went to go to the ubisoft booth cause that's where I saw the Turtles the most over the weekend, but when I got there a huge crowd was gathered.  They were throwing free stuff out to the crowd... so I got into the back of the crowd I wanted one of the headbands so I could have one to wear...  I over heard the people in front of me say "I'm only here because they're throwing out free stuff"  I mumbled "I'm here because I'm a real fan."

It was after that I saw a toy flying through the air, I wasn't going to lift my hand to catch it... mainly cause I wanted a headband and besides, I was already hurting from the weekend... at night I was having a hard time all the way back to Brin's house each night.  So last thing I needed was pain to my right arm, but when the toy fell to my feet I bent over to grab it.  It was a Bebop 25th toy, I didn't have it yet so I thought I was in luck getting this.  But as I grabbed it someone knocked me over from behind and everyone dog piled on me, people were reaching under me trying to grab the toy from my hand.  Talk about pain.  I didn't let go of the toy though at this point I felt I earned it.  I was really upset.. some guy in a red shirt pulled everyone off of me.  I got up leaning heavy on my cane now, they were done giving things out the crowd disappeared.
