What can I say?
I was a bit disappointed, mainly because the guests that I really, really wanted to see and had packed stuff for them to sign, didn't show because of bad weather. Then there was the dealer room. Wow... it was bad this time. I stuck with one vendor and that was it. But they had incredibly crazy deals. I mean everything on the table I bought from was 20% off (and it was normal to lower price than normal stuff). Ivey bought LOTS. I only bought $70 worth of stuff, but hey, had to add to my Marvel Select collection.

Out of the panels listed in the Events section of the forum, I only attended two. The first one was GREAT!!! The "Faces of Sci-Fi". I laughed so hard! Who knew Jimmy Olsen had such great abs!!! I didn't realize Margot Kidder was such a riot either. The other panel I attended was the "Hulk's Mash". It was funny. I must say, Peter David is KING! *bows down to PAD* I've met him before at Motor City last year. He's a great guy, my style of humor. And Paul Jenkins... *giggles like a school girl* He's sooooooo cute and that accent... dear lord *swoon* Heheheh
And... the man of the year... Dean Haglund! He sooooooooo made the convention for me. He's such a wonderful guy. So funny and so sweet. I have never gotten to the point of crying with laughter. I mean, I was seriously wiping away the tears from his comedy act Saturday night.
So, overall, it was an enjoyable convention. A little too expensive for what was there, though. But I had fun. Haven't been to a convention in well over a year. Might even do one next year. Just have to wait and see.
