Hi there!
I just stumbled across this place while poking around on DA...awesome community here! I'm a huge TMNT fanatic, and man, it's great to see that there's still such a big fanbase out there still. I grew up watching the old cartoon, I'm completely hooked on the new one, and I love the movies (except the third one...I think we can all agree that one wasn't so hot). I loved the latest CG movie too, I'm hoping they do another in the near future. I also have a bunch of the old comics, but I haven't collected any of the newer ones (Tales of the TMNT, I think it is), and I'm kicking myself now looking for back issues.
So anyways, I'm also an aspiring writer. A couple of years ago I discovered this fanfiction stuff....and what can I say, I'm hooked. Sure, some of the stories are pretty out there (I can't get down with this turtlecest stuff....yeesh), but I'm amazed at how many great fics there are. So thanks to all of you fanfic writers, for slaking my thirst for new TMNT stories - keep it up, I can't get enough!
And I would like to humbly throw my hat in the ring as well. I just completed a rather long fic that I hope some of you might like, titled, 'Eyes Open'. It's a bit long to post here, so I guess I'm just going to put up the link...please, if you have the time, give it a read and let me know what you think (and I promise to come back and do the same for all of you!) I want to make a serious career out of writing, and I'm trying to get some practice writing fics in the meantime, so any feedback is much appreciated.
