Review. Well, lets see....the con in general was pretty fun I have to say!

The hotel was AMAZING, both beautiful and plenty of room for all the events and great places for cosplayers to have their own small photo shoots. The staff were really VERY nice, even if I had some trouble once or twice trying to figure out answers to my questions. The first time was I noticed there was a change to a panel, and it simply said "Mike Personal Panel moved to 9am Saturday" One problem here....both Mike Sinterniklaas and Mike Mcfarland were at this con! lol So I asked a staff member if they knew which Mike it was. They couldn't seem to figure out....and even asked me "are you sure there's not a mike personal here?" huh? seriously? lmao XD Um, please know your guests just a liiiiiittle better then that. That happened Friday night. Otherwise the rest of Friday was just spent wandering around the awesome hotel observing people and getting to know where things were and poking around the dealer's room til later that night. I of course just HAD to attend the Guests Uncensored panel! I...won't go into what was said or done there though of course. Let's just say Mike M. and Greg Ayres are awesome amusing fellas!

Turns out that panel I was trying to find out which Mike it was for was for Mr. Sinterniklaas....but he didn't go, it was canceled cuz he didn't get in til 5am Saturday morning!

Dunno why....but then again I'm not that suprised either with the way that crazy fella leads his life lol. Saturday we went to a panel for Mike Mcfarland and Maxi Whitehead which was fun...first time meeting Maxi and for those who don't know, she's the new voice for Al in the new Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood series and she's really small and adorable and sweet, she makes me go awww even if she's most likely older then me heh. This was her first con and Mike M. was there "protecting her" as he claimed, and showing her the ropes and whatnot. Afterwards we tried to attend a fan panel for Kappa Mikey, but the people running the panel never showed up unfortunately so it was canceled much to my disappointment. Speaking of fan panels, I wonder if maybe one day I could try and set up my own Venture Bros panel...hmmm....*ponders this* ANYWAY! So we just waited around and then wandered over to the Voice Actors panel, which was the first time I got to see Mike Sinterniklaas the whole con lol. I had a short conversation with him and asked since I had been wondering if Kappa Mikey was canceled at this point or if there was going to be more. He told me he hadn't been told anything but according to...a certian major fan of that show....there was going to be more, though HE certianly hadn't been told. Hmm, guess I'll just have to wait and see. We also had brief conversation of Venture Bros of course!

Then the panel started, which included Mike S., Greg Ayres, Vic M., Mike M., and Maxi Whitehead. It started off with each of them introducing themselves and saying what they've worked on, as these type of panels usually do....and Greg started off...introducing himself and Courtney Love! So....Mike Sinterniklaas introduced himself as Lady Gaga! This amuses me to no end cuz I love Lady Gaga, and now every time I hear one of her songs I think of Mike!

After this panel we followed Mike and Greg to their own signing, where more conversation about Venture Bros and Greg spinning at the con rave and how crazy it was for them to get here cuz of the snow was had. I'm just glad they both could make it and they made it SAFELY at that! I was afraid even *I* wouldn't be able to go to this con cuz of all the snow! I got Mike to sign a print of an AWESOME Venture Bros fanart with a DBZ theme to it, and Greg to sign...a random piece of paper? On which he signed "Nice Random Paper! Love Greg Ayres" lol
Afterwards there was a break time to wander around, observe and rest and eat...til the Con Rave with Greg Ayres spinning! I must say, that man is AWESOME at what he does, and I love it every time! If I can help it, I will NEVER miss a con rave as long as he's spinning! AMAZING! Mike S. was at the rave as I suspected he would be...taking pictures of course! I was up right in front of the stage and saw him getting shots of Greg and said hi while I was dancing...and he came over and took abunch of pics of me!!

It's ok, I got back at him...later on he was dancing with two girls on the Katsu staff and I poked my bf and pointed at Mike, laughing and snickering, giggling at how much fun he was having cuz it was cute....but Mike caught me and came over and was like "What's so funny?! What are you laughing at, huh?!" as he smirked at me. I was just like "Um, not you dancing..."

lol The rave when on til 4am, then we went to bed cuz we were SO TIRED.
Sunday we didn't really attend any panels, just watched people and wandered around.I wanted to be able to find Mike and Greg and say good bye to them but we couldn't seem to find them anywhere. Finally I asked a very VERY nice staff member if they knew where they were and they didn't, but they used their walkie talkies to try and find someone in guest relations that might know....15 mintues later no one could seem to find them though. It was very...odd lol. But that's ok, I ended up having a very nice conversation with said staff member about becoming a staff member and volunteering for cons and such....and I'm thinking I'm gonna do it next year!
So in short, those were the hi-lights of Katsucon for me! And...sorry if this review was babbly lol
