Alright I just skimmed through all 12 pages of this thread (took me about an hour) just to make sure I don't re-ask questions you have already answered. But before that I would like to say. HOW ARE YOU!? I used to post on the ninjaturtle.com forums back when you still posted there and then the place went down and I lost track of you  Sad/Down  So I'm thrilled to have found you again. I missed you  Love

My question(s) are: There seems to be a new revamp in the makings for 2008. I'm not asking for any deatils that you obviously can't give out. But Personaly what are your hopes of the new direction the show will take in 2008? Do you want it to go bavk to it's earlier grittier roots or do you want to continue with a more quirky light hearted feel for the revamp? Personally I'm hoping for something more close to the darker orginal note th4e series started out on, because (even though I tried to keep an open mind) Fast Forward direction was just not to my tastes. Although admittedly It was getting better later on.

I don't remember if I asked you this already on the other forum, but, what exactly do voice actors like you do when you are sick and can't make a recording? Do they replace you for that particular recording or do they wait till you are better and you go ahead and when you are feeling better. I've heard from other V.A that not being able to make it for a recording when is a big deal in the Voice over biz.

It's official!

I just got the word that we are a go for 13 new episodes of TMNT. Unofficially, I've been told that we return to the present day, some elements of Fast Forward will be incorporated, Serling comes back with us, but Splinter remains in the future, although he does have contact with the guys through some sort of time portal or some other physics-defying contraption.

Mike, Sam, Campbell and myself will all still be playing the turtles.  Veronica Taylor, Marc Thompson, Scotty Ray and Greg Carey are also returning to the cast.

We're all, obviously, happy about this news. Our recording sessions start in late January, but I don't have word as to when the new eps will air.

As always, much obliged to all of you for watching.

-WG

P.S. Great to see everyone at Youmacon. I really enjoyed myself at that convention, regardless of the semi-circled design of the hotel. Dang, that was weird.

Oh, how I wish I could post that un-official stuff on my sites news page, but I don't want too get you into trouble Happy/Smile.

Most interesting plot developments that shake things up a bit. I  gotta say I've grown too love Serling though, so I hope it's true.  I also hope Splinter gets some stand alone adventures into the future as well.

Hmm, Scottie Ray returning?  Could this mean Shredder is back in some form? and wait a minute.. did I see Greg Carey in there?  No more 'not bad, but not as good as Carey' replacement Hun voice? Happy/Smile

That's awesome to hear about that, Wayne! Though I dont really like the whole Splinter and Serling thing. Glad to see that Greg is back to the show. I really didn't like his replacement.

Where is the outrage???

Oh, wait-- I forgot.

Damn it, I know you said "unoffically"-- which could mean nothing is in stone so to speak-- but I have BECOME a SPLINTER FAN because of the 2k3 series-- and all of my subsequent fan fiction that the show pulled me into-- and honestly, even when I saw the first movie all those years ago, I could feel the "family" importance of the set-up.

Hey Wayne! Glad to hear the super good news that you guys will all be back for more episodes! Love And it was super fun as always to hang out with you and Mike at Youmacon of course! So, how cool was it for you and Mike as Leo to get to see the Mikey and Leo turtle heads? I thought it was pretty amusing and awesome too! Especially afterwards Mike asked us to take pics of him with Leo's head...and he started making out with it lol. Crazy dude.

Anyway, Youmacon was lots of fun with you there and I can't wait to see ya again! Prolly Anime Next, right? Hope so! Love ya! And though it may not be turtle related...GO TEAM VENTURE!  Wink   And don't forget...we love Wayne Grayson! lol

Ok, I'm definitely glad to hear that they're keeping the VAs for the new series (and that there's a new series at all), but I'm with Cynlee...bring Splinter back...leave Serling behind.

I have a question, though - will the writer's strike have an impact on the new series and when you start work on it?

It's great that you're all coming back but no sensei? Was Darren not up for doing any more TMNT? Cos maybe he got pizza'ed that Cody was in the spotlight with the turtles and not Splinter? I wouldn't blame him. It's not TMNT without Splinter- the turtles would not be what they are without their papa rat.

Hi again, Wayne. I'm glad that you guys are still gonna be the Turtles, but I'm mad about Splinter. Why do they have to bring Serling back with them? I'm sorry, but I didn't like Serling at all. More to the point, I totally didn't like Fast Forward. I just hope they don't have that battle cry. You know what I'm talking about. That grated on my nerves and really made me not like Fast Forward. But never fear! I will still tune it. It IS TMNT after all and I must have my Turtles fix. I really hope the writer's strike doesn't affect TMNT because that's all I'll have for a little while. Anyway, I'm glad that things are kinda looking up, but I just think it sucks that Splinter won't be around that much. Oh well, only time will tell. Talk to you later. Have a shelltastic Thanksgiving and eat a lot of turkey.

I will hope the new episodes provide some fun voice work for all of you!
And hope the stories will be enjoyable. It's good to hear we are getting more episodes, and it's coming out of FF, even if some of the news like Splinter is disappointing.
I'll wait to make my judgment until I've seen it. But it's good to know the VAs will continue on TMNT!

Hey hey Mr. Gray...

Just wishing you a happy holiday season and having a strange and random question for you, being I watched The Grinch last night...

Do you have any holiday favorites that you and your honey-bun snuggle up and watch together?

Sounds creepy, but I ask everybody that question.

Peace and love!
