My husband is just so giddy over ferrets. That's all he wants is that crazy bucket of ferrets! I say that he'll have to clean up that mess!! LOL

A bucket of turtles? Can you imagine those little beady eyes looking up at you like, "WTF are you doing?!?!?"

*laughs* I want a ferret too, but I don't think I want a whole bucket of them. I might get one when I move into my new house. It's either that or a kitten, but I'm allergic to cats. I don't think I'm allergic to ferrets though because I've handled them before at a local pet shop where you can interact with the smaller animals such as them and rabbits.

I've done the whole aquarium thing for a few years and while fish are pretty to look at, it's a pain to clean the tank. I doubt there's quite as much work involved with cleaning a ferret cage than it is to "tear down" and "rebuild" a 15 gal tank.

@LM: Nah, not quite as much work as a fish tank but ferrets are very social animals so you need to put aside quite a bit of time for them. Their cages can become quite stinky! *g*

Well, I have a stinky dog already, so I don't think that it will be much of problem. *laughs* I've read where bathing on a regular basis, like you would a dog, helps to cut down the odor.
