Hi Stephelangelo!

Welcome to TMNT-L!  Thanks for taking time to answer the Getting to know you questions!    Really cool that you have gotten into the Turtles recently, and I agree the movies never did get old.  The original three movies remain my favorites.

I did want to comment on one of the questions you answered

11.  I actually have never met another big tmnt fan.  Although my fiance is into them and will watch the shows with me and play the games with me.  I have been watching Michele Ivey's Blog and I think she is awesome!  She seems like the type who knows what she loves and knows how to have fun.  It would be cool to meet her and definitely see that awesome collection she has.  I used to go to anime conventions and I would really like to start going to them again and maybe meet up with some fellow tmnt people.

I always enjoy meeting fans, so will be more than happy to meet up sometime!    Hopefully one day I will have  a real Museum for Ninja Turtles

I was wondering which anime cons you've been to?  I've traveled to a lot of different anime cons in the last 7 years, love going to the different conventions.  A lot of TMNT guest have worked on animes, so we do list anime cons in our events and meet up section if there's a TMNT guest connected to it.

Hey cool, it would be awesome to meet up sometime, would be a lot of fun.

So the only real anime convention I went to a lot was called "I-Con".  That was on Long Island where I grew up.  I basically went there every year until I moved.  They never had any TMNT stuff though, mostly Japanese anime, marvel/dc stuff, and medieval/roleplaying stuff.  I did go to one anime convention in Pennsylvania when I lived in Philadelphia but it was super small, only a couple of rooms if you can believe it.  It was mostly dealer rooms and movie showings although they did have a really awesome costume contest.  I don't actually recall what the names of that one was was.

I am also a big horror movie fan and have been to Monster Mania a bunch of times which is a horror convention in Cherry Hill, NJ.  What was cool about that one is they would hold it multiple times a year and always had big name guests come.

I've been living in Asheville, NC for almost a year now and sadly have yet to go to any conventions and have not yet met any people here with similar interests.    
*Well that's not true, we actually have one buddy that we watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 with every now and then.
