Hey everyone, Here's a new topic I figured I'd toss in since this is also the collectable area. What is your favorite collectable? Do you have this collectable already or looking for it? Why is it your favorite collectable? This should be something fun for everyone to take part in.

My collection is tiny so I don't have too much to chose from really, and honestly I can't think of any specific things that I want. But I'll do my best to answer. What is your favorite collectable? The set of Star Trek TMNT figures Do you have this collectable already or looking for it? Have them. Why is it your favorite collectable? Because they're so completely fun and random. WHY were these things even created? *L* And why are they wearing their pads over their uniforms? *L* I love DonSpock's vulcan ears and I love how amazingly LeoKirk is the only one whose hair actually looks like a toupee.

What is your favorite collectable? At the Moment, the Special Edition Leonardo statue Do you have this collectable already or looking for it? Yep, autographed too Why is it your favorite collectable? Anything signed by Peter Laird is pretty cool but also, it was the first place I also got to meet up with a fellow TMNT fan even if I ended up going with the stalker ex-bf but...let's pretend he didn't go. That was also the signing that I got to see a cool Splinter prototype costume that they were planning on using in the mini-series which I don't think ever happened. Sadly but it was cool!

This is a tough one, as both toylines cotain a lot of great figures. I got an e-bay account for the sole purpose of collecting the Universal Studios Monsters TMNT, the original set of which glows in the dark. I still need Mike as Frankenstein. The first set is really the old toyline at its best. The figures are amazing as far as their sculpts and paint jobs go. I'm still planning to get an extra set to keep MOC.
As far as the new toyline is concerned, there are several amazing figures. We finally got Karai after all these years, and Savanti, too. Here's hoping for a Renet and a Red Utrom with one of the many Oroku Saki/Shredder exoskeletons that were used in the cartoon.

Since this topic is not all that active, I'm going to take it off of sticky. Though for a fast find, a link here should remain in the " Things to do on TMNT-L" topic in the Lounge.

All right, fine, since SOMEBODY'S got to reply to it... Favorite collectible: a large Mikey cuddle pillow from the current series (I checked, they didn't make Raph.) Have it or own it: Own it! Why's it my favorite? Because it's nice to cuddle. (Duh.) Raka

What is your favorite collectable?
My Detective Donatello (old action figure-when they're in disguise) & our big Donatello doll (I dunno what else to call him-lol) & my new TMNT T-shirt.
Do you have this collectable already or looking for it?
Own it.
Why is it your favorite collectable?
Because I love the way the actio figure looks, love to hug the Donnie doll (though his one leg has fallen off, so he's wearing a one-piece baby sleeper-lol), & I LOVE my shirt 'cause I get to show the world I love TMNT & it's Awesome!!!!!

I don't like picking favorites, and I seem to switch back and forth anyways! What is your favorite collectable?Right now - does a TMNT fleece blanket count? I practically breathe that thing. Do you have this collectable already or looking for it? Yes, I have it, and it's very snuggly and warm, especially right now as it's winter. Whenever I'm going to watch a movie or tv show, I sit in my recliner with my blankie. Why is it your favorite collectable? I love blankets and TMNT.. seems to fit rather well!

Favorite: Trading cards of all types, but mainly trading card game cards, like VS System and SWCCG among others. I have the TMNT starter but that's all. Why: Easiest to store, maybe? I've always liked playing and collecting them. I have a bunch of Heroclix, too, but they aren't quite as easy to collect. I'm hoping make their way to either VS or Heroclix sometime.

I have a ton of the Fleer cards to the 4Kids cartoon--they're pretty sweet. I really liked the sewer cover cards and ooze cards. Those cards are rarer but since I bought them by the box, I wound up with a few of them.

I won some cards from the old cartoon show a couple of years ago. I think they were from the UK originally, because the logos say "Hero Turtles".

Gosh, I don't know what exactly is my favorite collectible. I love my Collected Books (1-4), my DVDs, my movie poster and my toddler turtle figures that I'm really fond of. I really try telling myself NOT to buy action figures because they're just for display or to be put away in a box (and I should use money toward paying off my car or [insert adult-sounding obligation here]), but I cracked the other day and decided I really did need all four Turtle movie figures. Well, now that the movie is out, the turtle toys are flying off the shelves (except April... nobody wants her because she looks weird in her Japanese fighting suit). I'm glad to see that because it means TMNT is doing well, but I had a hell of a time finding Leonardo! After driving around checking all the stores within 20 miles of me, I finally found Leo at F.Y.E. The store overcharges for action figures but I was afraid I wouldn't find him again so I bought him. I really loved Leo in the new movie so now my figure of him will go up there with my cheristed items. Remember the TMNT stuffed animals from the '80s/early '90s? I had Leo and Don as a kid, and I can't find them now! Those were my favorite as a kid and would become my favorite again if I find them (or if they make new ones and I can buy them).

My current "favorite" is probably my gold Shogun Leo from the old toy line. It was in with a lot that I bought for $9.99 on e-bay (there was no picture which was why nobody else placed a bid). The lot also included a carded Tokka (the first variant with the orange carapace).

What is your favorite collectable? - My favorite collectible would have to be my original painted cover to issue #11 by Eastman.
Do you have this collectable already or looking for it? - Got it recently
Why is it your favorite collectable? - Its an early cover!! There are just so few covers out there, much less an early one, and this one is painted, not just pen/inked.

What is your favorite collectible? TMNT T-Shirt and my few TV Series Cels.. Do you have this collectible already or looking for it? Yes XD Why is it your favorite collectible? The one just has an awesome design, and the others are all just cool to me since I'm an artist and into these things. I find them to be interesting and since there's really only 'one'... of every thing.. It's just too cool! :3

WOW!!! that is an amazing piece!! I would love to get my hands on some original art.
I have been building my toy collection a lot lately so I have landed a bunch of stuff from the original line. I LOVE the old toys!!
What is your favorite collectable? Hard to say too many to count... Probably the sewer playset, blimp, and Monty Moose. Do you have this collectable already or looking for it? Yeah I have them BUT check out my wish list in the buy/sell/trades. I am still looking for parts and stuff. Why is it your favorite collectable? Well I have this strange obsession with trying to collect all in what ever condition of the original toy lines. SO that said I just love how cool these toys were and playsets like the sewer are just classic!! Monty Moose is also one one my favorites because he is SO Canadian wearing an RCMP uniform and having a beaver with him, which is rather random that an American toy line would have such a Canadian spoof toy. How many kids would have actually got it, which is also why I love the turtles so much, they were crazy clever.
