Who's all going to see the Turtles when they come near your town?   Not sure.... well I'm going to try for two of the shows... (really wish they were coming to Michigan).  

Ok here's the information....

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be making special in-store appearances at the following retail locations, with stage shows, meet 'n' greet, and photo opportunities.  Don't miss out, the Turtles may be coming to your town!

This is what is SUPPOSE to happen at the TMNT shows at Toys R Us and other locations listed.  If anyone really SEES this happening, please let us know.  More Details later.

Details of Event:

* The Turtles will put on a 30 minute "Ninja Show" beginning with a warmup of Turtle Trivia questions and prizes

* There will be a 30 minute break followed by a 30 minute "meet and greet"/"pose for picture" event with Michaelangelo and Donatello.  Raphael and Leonardo's will then do a 30 minute "meet and greet"/"pose for picture" event.

I'm going to try and go on  September 10th to both Joliet, IL and Aurora, IL shows.  I'll bring my video camera, tri pod, and try to get good pictures as well.  So I'll be able to do a review of what this show is like for anyone who is hoping to go when it comes to their area.

Anyone else thinking about going to these two shows or at least one of them?  If so please do contact me, we could turn this into a small meet up.   I know I can't wait to go!

It's exciting to know the Turtles are on tour again!

She lied... she told me it was in northern Indiana.    Those IL locations are closer to the west side of Chicago and such.

I think we should ban together as fans and work something out about getting this tour to hit more places.  Start going to your local Toys R Us and ask why they're not getting that 'cool' TMNT tour going around.   Once I get back from my trip this weekend, I'm going to write up a review and a letter for the local Toys R Us along with pictures from my trip.  I'll than go around and ask the local places, not just Toys R Us if they'd be willing to do this Mall Tour and give them Mirage's URL so they have somewhere to ask about picking up the show.

I know they got pros out there doing this for them, but requests from fans never hurt infact they usually help.   So once I get this letter and stuff written up, I'll make a post about it.  So others can use it for their local areas as well.  Let's try to make this tour bigger than it is.

Today's the day I'm going to be meeting them!    I'll give a report on how it goes when I get home.  

HotHead, our newest member as of now is also going to be there today.  So I'll ask him to come on and do a review as well.  Hope these reviews help people decide about going or not, asking their local stores about getting them or not... or just at least give people the feel of what these Tours are like and about.  Because the tour is still going around, I'm going to do a show report here of how it goes, than a review of my personal trip in "General Discussion"

I hope your experience went well, Ivey!  As for locations, my store once had a big to-do with Barbie as our special guest.  The girl they got was gorgeous, but a brunette!  I don't even remember what the promotion was for, just that I was VERY busy at the register!  You know?  I just thought of something.  My co-worker's husband works at the TRU I worked at, in fact, I worked with him when I was there!  I could ask her to ask him about special appearances of characters.

Please hold off on telling locations about this event, till after a few things are straightened out... I'll fill you all in once I get home.  This was a bit of a disappointment, I'll say that.

Things seem to be worked out here knowing that Playmates is paying attention to this mistake.  So I think it's safe to try and request them in your area again.  Let's see what we can do as fans.
