Technically, this probably could go in the not-off-topic section, but I'm putting it here since it mostly isn't on topic. 

Ok, that aside, this past weekend, I ventured out to see the annual Pumpkin People displays in nearby Kentville. Then we tried cutting across the province and visiting the Scarecrows of Mahone Bay. It was a long day, but a fun one, with some rather creative displays.  One of the main reasons I went was to see the TMNT that were rumoured to be "pumpkinized" in Kentville - they had one of the largest displays in a very prominent spot. And I was amused to hear a mother singing the 87 theme song as she was showing the TMNT to her under-5 year old child.

Yep, they do a pretty good job, most times.  It's a fun day out.
