Seeing as how you're interested in them doing music, have you ever seen anything of the Tour Turtles?
I did have the Coming Out of Their Shells Tour on tape. Nice stage show & some 90's humor. The one who played the reporter asking about the Turtles to the kids is David Ruphrecht (Supermarket Sweep).
Also, I caught their appearance when they did a Larry King special back in 1990 on NBC.
As for my Ninja Turtle Band, they would play freestyle jazz with each Turtle singing once. About the instruments...
DON: Went from keyboards to bass guitar. Also took up the sousaphone when he found one @ April's shop.
MIKEY: Switched from guitar to drums. Mikey loves to play his drum set! He also plays tympani & loves to play drumrolls (he even wrote a tympani solo).
RAPH: Since Raph wrote the music & Mikey the lyrics, Raph played the guitar to write music. So Raph plays the electric guitar full time & is a super guitarist!
LEO: Took up the vibes after seeing a street jazz combo Raph was watching @ Central Park. April got Leo a vibes set for his birthday.
