Sounds like a good idea! I remember saying it would be cool if you got to see it here at my house, but I guess it would be better to save time for some of those videos you're bringing over.

So begins Don's arc to monster mashing! With a 'wee scratch'. Raph and the bugs was fun. Nice to see Raph all fired up and kicking bug butt. Apparently getting covered in their goo is okay, or else we'll see Raph mutating before Don into something nasty! I enjoyed the interractions between the characters. Things like Mikey trying not to scream. Don upset about what he lost at the Lair. The digs at Leo, who is, of course, awesome. I love the way Leo moves and acts now, great culmination from the angst arc. As for Bishop...interesssting. We knew he was more than normal human, but he was messed with against his will. hmmm. Why did the Aliens do that to him, and how did he get away or why was he let go? And Baxter working with Bishop...oh oh. That's a scary combo. Like making a tuna fish and salami sandwhich or something. Who knows how that is going to turn out. I did enjoy the episode, and I just hope with the 100 thing and the Fast Forward, the qualities I enjoy don't vanish quickly, without a trace.

People, people, come on! It's been almost 12 hours and no real posts? Where is everyone? Anyone awake out there?? Hee hee. I enjoyed today's episode...it's always amusing to see Raph enjoying the presence of bugs. He does love them so... And we now have the answer to what happens to Don in episode #100. Interestingly, the specimen Baxter (Mo's favourite character, by far) is the one that attacked the turtles. Coincidence? I think not. I was a little surprised that Mike seemed more worried about his destroyed comic collection and made no mention of his busted Battle Nexus trophy. Nice to see what he thinks of Leo, though, huh? "How much room do you need to meditate and be boring?". *snicker* One thing I wasn't as fond of...the preview for next week. Not much of a preview, really didn't show much of next week's episode. Still, I think we're going to be in for an interesting ride over the next little while.

I was waiting for somebody else to say something. Interesting that Bishop had plugs in his spine, it reminded me of the film The Sixth Day.

People, people, come on! It's been almost 12 hours and no real posts? Where is everyone? Anyone awake out there?? Hee hee. I posted ahead of your post. So that means I am not "people." I enjoyed today's episode...it's always amusing to see Raph enjoying the presence of bugs. He does love them so... And we now have the answer to what happens to Don in episode #100. Interestingly, the specimen Baxter (Mo's favourite character, by far) is the one that attacked the turtles. Coincidence? I think not. I see someone wants to get bapped by "Mo". But your comments about Raph "enjoying" bugs and "love". Very amusing. I was a little surprised that Mike seemed more worried about his destroyed comic collection and made no mention of his busted Battle Nexus trophy. Nice to see what he thinks of Leo, though, huh? "How much room do you need to meditate and be boring?". *snicker*
yes, there is that point about Mikey to Leo...tsk. Just like an Angelo, to wheedle and work stuff to get their advantage. What had me LOLing for real with that was the fact of how many times I've been around some of those Angelos out there and had them work stuff just like that to get what they want. Hilarious! (And I still think Mike will secretly sneak back to the old Lair to try to salvage anything he can, including all the pieces he can pick up his trophy and then reglue it. )

*Makes mental note to avoid Mo so she can't do anything regarding roaches*
What??? They're crunchy and chock full of protien! *munches* *Listens to see if anyone else notices the refrigerated canned Stockman, half expecting to hear conversations between Stockman & the English Muffin...* *cackles* oooohh...that could be a mistake...Stockman and the English Muffin plotting world domination?? Man, does this herald the return of the Fridge Monster??? Oh, and to get back on topic... The guys all got 'slimed' by Bishop's aliens, and Raph especially took a major hit of ooze this time around. Assuming the current batch of mutated bugs didn't get bit, scratched, etc...and just were covered in ooze...I wonder why hasn't it affected the turtles in the same way? Their original mutation was as a result of coming in contact with the mutagen, you would think it'd do the same thing this time. I'd imagine we'll find out from Donnie in future eps,as he got scratched from one, yeah. *G* But I dunno...if any mutating where to take place, I'd imagine it'd probably take a little while...don't think it'd be super-instantanious or anything... Though the way Stockman *shivers and grumbles a little about sledge hammers* described it, it sounded like the ooze acted kinda like viral infection...how it continually mutated with each host it infected...

Man, does this herald the return of the Fridge Monster??? You two have certainly opened a can of something! The talking English Muffin--what's next, the Dust Bunnies and their plot for world domination, too? I think this message board has been around long enough now to have the dust bunnies creeping in.... However, the whole jar of Baxter in the Fridge thing makes me think of Soylent Green, so congratulations on completely disgusting me. (Earlier this week a certain Angelo with Star Warsian tendencies mentioned Soylent Green in an email exchange at work. ugh!) Are we going to have to stick a warning sign on the Fridge now? Although, the concept of Baxter's jar, stuck in a fridge...is weirdly funny. Imagine opening the Fridge door, and having Baxter strike up a conversation because he's soooo bored in there. Waiting for that moment the door opens. *shudder* Oh, and to get back on topic... Unless...it's to come... *cues dramatic music* I'd imagine we'll find out from Donnie in future eps,as he got scratched from one, yeah. That's my thought. In this type of ooze/goo, it doesn't work like the original mutagen, so if you just touch it for a short time, nothing happens. So take your dramatic music away!! This time, it's all about Don! (Oh, and all those halos...a bit over the top, don't you think?) But if you ingest it or get it injected in some fashion...then the trouble starts. You're right about the viral infection comment, I think that's the key difference. As for time, the man in the sewer changed fairly fast. Of course, he was probably a lot more than just scratched. Just in case, we'll have to keep our eye on Raph next weekend, see if he starts crawling around on all fours, clinging to walls, growing extra tongues or tentacles, or gettting bug-eyed.

I just watched this episode today. It was better than I thought it would be, i expected it to be really dumb, but y'know a bit of a lift after the seriousness of the first two. I was pleasantly surprised even if I did think some of the bits were kind of dumb. Aside from the obvious stuff such as Bishop's origin being explained and the inevitable Don going YARG I have to say I'm looking forward to seeing the new lair once it's fixed up. They talked about rooms but from I saw there weren't exactly a lot of walls...

Hey, why not? They can join the party, no problem! Never had the whole Soylent Green thing explained to me...or if I did, I just don't remember it... hehe...pukeleft...is there a pukeright piccie?? Although, the concept of Baxter's jar, stuck in a fridge...is weirdly funny. Imagine opening the Fridge door, and having Baxter strike up a conversation because he's soooo bored in there. Waiting for that moment the door opens. *shudder* Oh MAN...I can only imagine!!! The idea cracks me up, actually... That's my thought. In this type of ooze/goo, it doesn't work like the original mutagen, so if you just touch it for a short time, nothing happens. So take your dramatic music away!! This time, it's all about Don! As for time, the man in the sewer changed fairly fast. Of course, he was probably a lot more than just scratched. Exactly...it does seem as if the smaller things got infected first, grew, then infected other things. I'm suddenly thinking of all those plague movies. Just in case, we'll have to keep our eye on Raph next weekend, see if he starts crawling around on all fours, clinging to walls, growing extra tongues or tentacles, or gettting bug-eyed. And how's that any different from a pre-coffee Raph again??
