How many jobs do you usually have at one time, art jobs, voice acting, and threatre work? I know you were just in the play Anathemaville, doing voice work as Baxter, and doing the art work for the papers. Which all has to be a lot of work, through out the week to keep up with. So I'm curious as to how it all works out for you, and how much you're really doing weekly. You seem like a busy person, which is great in the Entertainment world.

Hi there, I've been doing roughly one gig a week. The theatre work overlaps all that. I do readings of new plays somewhere EVERY week. I just did AL SHARPTON FOR PRESIDENT recently and something else will come up. Playrites usually call me to read their stuff.I't the same with the 'toons....but I can always use more gigs Being busy is the key because I don't punch a timeclock. I am usually dashing to and fro...sometimes seeing three or more different prospects a day. And I will ALWAYS run into someone I know on the street. -SCOTT

Hiya, sorry I've been quiet this week been a bit busy.
Now you do stuff we're you're working with a live crowd of people and stuff where you're working with just the people in show business recording stuff like voices for the cartoon or doing art work by yourself. I'm curious which of these do you perfer, do you love the response from the crowd or do you perfer working on stuff knowing if a mistake of some kind is made it can be fixed without anyone knowing about it?

Hey there, Asking which one I prefer is like having to choose between chicken or steak. How can one pick one over the other when they're BOTH delicious. I've started working on a new production but not as an actor but as a scenic artist. The setting is a home and I'm doing fake "oil paintings" in acrylic....six in all. I unfortunatly had to turn down three other offers due to time constraints. I will be reading the role of BULLARD again in Mt.Vernon, NY. There's hope of an actual production. Later.-SCOTT

Hiya! Sorry it's been a bit since I posted over here.. just been keeping very busy as of late. Though I wanted to ask how things went with Bullard? I also want to bring up that a group of us from this forum are going to Anime Next in June. This convention is just outside of New York City. And I was wondering if you'd like to meet up with us any of the days, that's if you're in town and not too busy at the time, for a lunch or dinner. I know I'd love to meet you, and I'm sure we'll all be honored. Figured I'd bring this up sort of early from the convention time, so you have time to think about it. I hate springing things up at the last minute.

Hey There, There's no official web page on BULLARD because it's just a reading and not a full production. It'll be done one day only. We are hoping to do it as a run. We may even have Tuskgeegee Airmen attend like the first reading. They really enjoyed it. Bear in mind, when Bullard was flying these men(now in their 70's an 80's) were'nt even born. -SCOTT

Hello Scott, Thank's so much for hanging out with us here, I think its awesome. I am a web major, a not so shiny artist and one who dables in the Theater. I have been wondering for a man of so many talents and such a wide range of works, what are some of your favorite projects that you have worked on? (Besides everyone's favorite evil genius ) Also, how does voice acting differ for you with theater? Is one better than the other or just take more prep time? I hope to get a chance to meet you at Anime Next, I've met a fair amount of Voice Actors for Anime, none for turtles yet. Have a Spooktastic Halloween! Shin Yuy

Hi Shin, Thanks for your kind words. I do hope to participate in one of the conventions soon. Voice acting is very easy for me. I simply read from the script on the stand. Since I know the character so well I can get it in two or three takes. Doing a live show requires more stamina as well as memorizing those lines. When I played Leo in ANATHEMAVILLE I had several long monologues. When I did my one-man show MILES several years ago ,I did the voice of Miles Davis, Charlie Parker,Dizzy,Louis Malle (and others that I can't recall) as well as played the tenor sax. All it takes is a deep commitment. Now drawing a comic book...now THAT'S work.....-SCOTT

Hiya Scott, I'm planning some event stuff to go down to New York in June, and wanted to let you in on what's going on. I mentioned before about Anime Next, though that same week we're also talking about doing another event which really isn't a convention or anything. A group of us is thinking about getting together to see Avenue Q, which is a show I got to see in Vegas and thought it was Great so figured this would be a nice get together for the people going to New York area for Anime Next. If you're interested in checking out the information about the get together, and think you might be able to join us that evening let me know. If I was rich I would offer to pay for all who come, so it's going to be a pay your own way. But I'm thinking dinner and a show would be great while in New York. And I want to invite everyone who will be in the area to join us, if they can. Here's the link if you want to see what we have on it so far.. http://www.tmnt-l.com/index.php?topic=363

Hey! Kaz here! I'm pretty new! I love Baxter's character. I look forward to him changing all the time! Maybe you could go to Anime Next this year..or Katsucon? Those are pretty awesome! What other shows have you voiced in besides TMNT? Keep up the awesome job!

Hi All, I would love to attend a con. It's a bit tough to plan ahead for me though....I may be in a play next year. I try to be very careful about making promises as people tend to ask me to do a reading or illustration a few days in advance. When I record Stockman I'm only notified a few days ahead. As far as other voice work...I've done DARIA ,CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH, an anti-smoking radio spot and a slew of stuff in theatre. I've done the voice of GOD a few times. Please keep me posted on conventions in NY. Bye for now.-S
