Hello all, Scott here...also known as Dr.Baxter Stockman. I had a bit of trouble getting on-line due my lack of computer skills...but better late than never. I love doing Stockman!!!!!! I'm very flattered. I did not think anyone really cared. If anyone has any questions contact me at scottw11354@yahoo.com or call me at 1212 539-3760. I have lots of stories as I am a stage actor as well as a professional cartoonist. However I'm NOT the Scott Williams who inks for the comics. That's a different person entirely. Here's an update to what I've up to recently: I've become an uncle, acting in ANATHEMAVILLE, working on a horror comic, doing scot-toons for The Epoch Times newspaper(look it up and search scot-toons) and still doing illustrations for ALICIA KEYS. If you go to the Official Fanclub site you'll see a logo of Alicias profile in a circle with an outstretched arm that's piano keys...I drew that. That's all I can think of at the moment. If anyone has any questions please contact me. Later. -SCOTT

Hi Scott! It's great to see you were able to get things up and running. (I'm going to help out with your post for people by adding links to the stuff you mentioned, though I was not able to find any of the scot-toons. This way people can go and check out the information on it themselves.) I have a question, which I know is going to be a question a lot of the fans are wondering.... How did you get the job of Baxter Stockman? I was also wondering if you could take sometime to answer our "Welcome questions" just click on the link and it'll take you to the topic to reply too Welcome Questions These are just questions to get to know the members on the group, so you can also go through and read up about any of us.

Hi all, This is how it started: Several years back I worked on the MTV Animation series DARIA as a layout artist. If you see episodes from the third to fifth season and two 90 minute films I'm credited. I also did VOICES for five episodes(I was Janes long-lost brother WIND as well as others). Mark Thompson and myself were in an episode(pre-TURTLES) where Jake goes to learn about the internet. I played an Asian kid named Zheng Dong. I also played Sam Jackson in CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH. Ironic because I know people who know Sam. I had a friend named Rich Kranz who knew the biz. He told me TURTLES was starting up. I called the producer then hopped the train to 4KIDS. I was the LAST person to show up. I was handed a drawing of Baxter with two lines at the bottom that related to the Mousers(later seen in episode #2). I had ABSOUTLY NO IDEA what this was! I NEVER read the comic...but I had worked in a comic shop that sold the TURTLES comic. I did'nt grow up with the TURTLES because they were an 80's thing...not the 60's and 70's. I do many readings of new plays in NY. Reading copy cold is no problem and with Sam Jackson in mind it just worked out. I've been doing readings in Harlem for years with the Frank Silvera Writers Workshop. The founder is Garland Lee Thompson. Garland played Transporter Chief Wilson in the original STAR TREK series episode "The Enemy Within". I learned from the best.See how these things come full circle? I have more stories like this. -SCOTT

That's really cool that you got to work on Daria! I watch that show with a friend of mine a lot. I have another question, even though I asked last night... I'm going to ask it here so others can see. When you record for the TMNT series, do you ever record with any of the other Voice Actors? And is there any Voice Sessions that stand out above the others (something funny happen, or a problem with a line or something) that you would like to share with us?

Hi all, When we(the voice actors) record our lines we are NEVER together. Everyone has a set time to record. I USUALLY the afternoon slot...about 12:00 -1:00 or 1:00-2:00. Each speech has a number. The director will explain what is happening to Stockman, direct me accordingly, and read the previous line. Sometimetimes I've gone in just to sream or grunt. My train ride will be longer than my session. Show biz...ya' gotta love it!-SCOTT

Wow, this is great! Refreshing to see a very involved pro here I have to say, Baxter Stockman one of my all time favorite villians. He has an edge to him in the new series, a very stubborn and bold character. Especially compared to the version of him in the old series, however I won't ask you any questions about that since you were oblivious at the time. I was just wondering what would be your favorite line or moment that Baxter has had in the new series? Assuming you watch it..I can understand if the recordings are all a blur too Your artwork is very stylish too, good work and thanks for your time!

I have to agree with Zip about Baxter being a wonderful character I too was wondering, do you watch the TMNT series, or other shows that you've worked on? If so, what do you think of the series since you've been introduced to it, and have you picked up any favorite characters good or bad by seeing it? (P.S. This is Michaelangelo, my computer down right now so I'm at my sister's house using my back up account.)

Hi gang, Thanks for the kind words of inspiration. I don't watch my own show due to other commitments like cartooning and theatre. Both are quite demanding and leave me little time. I do MANY readings of new plays in NY. For those not in the theatre : a reading is when actors read a new work from scripts- in-hand to an audience. This give the playwrite an idea of what it sounds like and if there are revisions to be made. I've done many and I'll be doing more. No one episode of TMNT stands out...they're ALL fun. As far as the characters and their histories... I grew up with SPACE GHOST, GIGANTOR,SPEED RACER, SPIDERMAN,THE FLINTSTONES when that stuff was new!!!! I even remember watching the SNEAK PREVIEW of SCOOBY DOO!!! I also appeared in SEX IN THE CITY as a court officer. Sarah Jessica Parker tries to get out of jury duty. My shoulder can be seen under the opening credits as she tries to explain. One final note: I remember watching an PEANUTS tribute celebrating the animated specials.(This must have been '73 or '74) There were scenes of the kids recording lines. I remember sitting on the couch grumbling "Why them and not ME".-SCOTT

Hey Scott, good to meetcha. Ivey told me over the phone that she got to speak with you and I thought that was pretty cool. I'm quite surprised you did work on those MTV shows. They were actually 2 of my favorite as a teenager.

Hiya Scott! This is sort of a fun question for ... I was wondering if you could change one thing about Baxter Stockman, what would you think would be a good change? I was asking this in the "Villain of the Month" topic, since this month's villain is Baxter Stockman.

Hi all, I would'nt change a thing about Baxter. Truthfully, I'm just as surprised as anyone at the stuff this guy goes through. I'm glad you all like my cartoons as well. I also design logos as well as characters. I also do commission work and build resin and vinyl models for clients. I have a GREAT collection of model kits. If anyone wants something done I'd be happy to help. -SCOTT

That's really cool that you're enjoying your character. Baxter is getting a lot of time in this series compared to the others, he's become a real threat and will never die off. *G* With all of the story lines they've done with Baxter, is there any that stood out that you like? I personally love the original story with the Mousers, but I also love it when Baxter placed the "You didn't say please" alarm in Shredder's space ship. That was Great.
