I've kind of been avoiding this topic due to the fact that I was having difficulty in explaining myself.  Getting to the point, I'm discouraged to say that I did NOT make it to the Radio Disney Tour on April 15.    The main reason was the event was outdoors at a park and it poured down rain both Friday and Saturday in the L.A. area.  The last thing my mom wanted to do was walk around in mud and wet grass.  I stayed up till almost 3 a.m. on the 15th trying to call the Radio Disney station and the official park numbers to see if the event was cancelled due to the weather.  I got a hold of some girl at the station, but she couldn't say if it would be cancelled because it was too early to know for sure.

As it was by 10 a.m., when the event was supposed to start, we were just getting in to Disneyland with the whole family.  There was a total of nine of us, probably the biggest group I've ever gone with to DL.  It was both birthdays for my cousin Josh and his girlfriend, Mak, plus it was the first time for Tristan, Josh's four year-old son, going to DL.  Had I gone to the event, I would have missed being there for all of Tristan's first-time reactions.  And seeing someone's first reaction to DL is definitely priceless, especially from a small child.  DL was a zoo with horrible crowds, but I wanted to be there with Tristan, and he turned out wanting to hold my hand as much as possible!

So, I wanted to deeply apologize to DA for not being able to help get her some TMNT goodies at the event.  I'm not even sure if the event went on because of the rain, but if it did, I'm real sorry that I missed it.  I contacted Dan from the Official TMNT Web Site to update my email address for any future news regarding appearances of the Turtles.  If there are any in the San Diego or L.A. area, I will try and get to them and make up for what I didn't get to do.  I hope I'm forgiven for this.

I wish you & I where closer I'd love to hang out with you in person!
