Hey everyone, another villain update, this time it's Dr. Quease should be a fun topic  Esp for Next Mutation fans out there.

Dr. Quease was originally named "Dr. Faboo" in the Saban Mini Bible (which was their basic info about the series before the scripts and all were written up.  Here is what it says about Dr. Faboo (aka Quease).

Dr. Faboo is New York City's most under-rated criminal brain.  A sick and twisted genius.  Dr. Faboo has an unholy passion for tampering with living flesh and destructive machines.  He is a great perpetrator of foul deeds and is completely nuts!

Dr. Faboo is obessed with the Turtles. His objective is quite simple.  Catch a Mutant Turtle crack its shell and find out what makes it tick.  Plain and simple, the lunatic wants to do experiments on the Turtles - He wants to unlock the secret to their Mutant abilities.

Dr. Faboo has mastered all known technologies and science: From simple disective techniques, bio-brain augmentations, and primitive mutant freak breeding, to complex astrophysics, electronmagnetics, particle theory, neuro-acoustics, and cosmo-optice.  Faboo has aced the Trakian 20 cm Split Deam Violator all 733 of the Lunan modified matter regeneration timephase systems, antimatter microdot quark duplication, and subatomic Borinium time-phase technology.  Faboo is forever tinkering with flesh and machines - But he's yet to manufacture an intelligent fully functioning independent Mutant.  The Turtles are the key!  He must study their guts - But in order to do that, he will need to catch one.  This is Dr. Faboo's prime objective: Trap a Turtle, slay it, filet it, and creat a new race of customized creatures... Dr. Faboo is the craziest man on the face of the earth!

Well from what everyone knows of Dr. Quease that talks of some of the ideas that did stay with him, though as I said this is from before the show was fully written or filmed.   Anyone who watched the series knows that Dr. Quease started off just as this scientist that Donatello was a fan of, who got kidnapped by the Rank.  Dragon Lord offered Quease a job and he took it, there was some character growth in Quease through the series, to the point where he realized that Donatello is worth more to him alive than dead.

Really Quease is one of my favorite TMNT Villains!

So what do you think of Quease?
Is there something about Quease you would change?
Is there any mission you think would of been fun if they did with Quease?
What do you think of how he looks?
What is your theory about how he'd get the inplants out of his head in the later episoides?

I LOVE the first episode with Dr. Quease in it. He was kind of annoying but with him it was a good plot since he was Don's idol.

It's ashame I never really got to see much of him, but he was a very interesting character. I would've loved it if he had appeared in the original cartoon. He definitly would've made a better nemesis than Lord Dregg.

Besides just completely freakin'-looking, I thought he would've made a cool villain, maybe even ally, for/of the Turtles. It's been so long since I've seen NT:TNM, but I do remember liking him even though he creeped me out at first.

TNM had really interesting characters and stories that could've been great, but guess we'll never know. Sad/Down

It was only a matter of time before they introduced a character who was interested in the turtles scientifically. I'm quite glad they did create Dr. Queeze, he's nuts and obsessed. I think he gave the NM a realistic touch, so I kinda 'like' him...

Come to think of it... Quease reminds me of my ole high school bus driver. He always tried to run us over or slam on the brakes to get us to sit down.

Maybe that's why I'm scared of Quease  LOL

That reminds me.  Ever notice how several of Don's genius idols turned out to be evil mad scientists, that later he had to stop (in all versions of TMNT)?  *snicker*

As for Quease, he was pretty interesting.  Quirkier then ever, but interesting.  If I remember correctly Quease actually wanted Don's help as his assistant, then decided to turn on him.  Then when the other turtles came to Don's rescue, later on we had one of those turtles-picking-on-the-boy-genius-saying- "I told ya so!" -moments!

Yea, that's rather interesting to say the least, though the only other time anything like that has happened in another TMNTverse is the original toon when Don took Irma to meet Professor Sofo.

Yeah I was gonna mention that ep.  That was one time.  There've also be times where he befriended friendly, but slightly mad scientists.  He   admired Professor Willard W. Willard in the ep, "Turtles of the Jungle".  He was wacky enuff to invent a Molecular Intensifier which caused some damage throughout the city with those large, growing plants.  Not to mention he was responsible for his monkey Jocko for becoming giant, and purposly enlarged Don to stop him.  Those two duking it out also caused some damage to the city.

Having only seen most of the FB/4K eps one time thru sofar, I don't remember every little thing (don't worry I'll rewatch them later).  But I don't believe Don had any mad-scientist idols yet.

Relating back to the topic, Ivey asked, "What do you think of how he looks?"  He looks ok for a mad scientist.  Tho the makeup looked a bit fake IMO.  That's maybe the only thing I'd change about him.  I like how this mad scientist reoccured in other eps too.  You usually don't see that in other versions of TMNT, minus Prof. Sofo who reappeared one other time.
